This is a solid, sturdy hand rail for the steps coming off our back porch and the quality looks very solid.The only downside was the amount of work involved in mounting it.The instructions and diagrams are not well written and it took me the better part of two days to get it done.If you get it, you need to be pretty handy with tools and assembly, or know someone who is.

You will need a 1/4 inch concrete and masonry drill. If the installation is on concrete or brick, a hammer drill driver works best. Coated concrete 3-1/2 inch lag screws secure the base. The rail is secured to the post with a cap which is drilled and screwed to both the post and rail. Two metal drills of the correct size for the screws came with the kit. The installation took about 2 hours to measure and install. It is very sturdy and should be here a long time.

was easily assembled, I did not use the supplied anchors. I did feel they would stay firm over time with the expected heavy use. I had to drill out the base plate holes a little larger for the replacement expansion anchors I used.After assembled and anchored, it was rigid and firm feeling and looked great.

This was perfect for an outdoor staircase attached to a historic building. While the installation would have been difficult with ANY product, this was very sturdy and perfect for the decor of the building. Wound up buying two more for the property!

Kind of expensive and some of the screws were incorrect and not per instructions. Had to substitute some of my own after failing to install them as directed.

I get more positive, unsolicited comments on this railing. I bought it on a lark and had it installed and promptly fell in love with it. Very sturdy and attractive. Superior finish coating. Assembled very easily.

Handrail very well made would strongly recommend. Excellent customer service.Ordered handrail for my deck the end caps were missing in the box when it arrived. I called the company they were very apologetic. Had end caps next day aired to me. Rail looks great very well made. Even comes with the drill bits you need.

Purchased this for a customer. You need to make sure you have drill bits designed for metal as some drilling is required. However, it wasn't that hard and the finished product is very sturdy. Great purchase for the price.
