[!] update [!] I contacted the email on the user manual describing the damages and defects with the desk I had received along with the first photos in my review. They apologized and asked for my information and said a new desk would be shipping out within the week. I got the new desk today and put it together with no problems. For those putting theirs together pay close attention to the pictures and were the screws go. I'm not sure how some people said the instructions were vague they're extremely easy to follow. It took me no more than 40 minutes on my own - and I have to say I'm actually impressed. Although I don't have a lot of items on my desk yet it seems sturdy. I'm excited to fill it up with all of my art supplies. I'll be using this desk for gaming and drawing and for anyone looking for space there's plenty. I'm happy with the quick and easy help from their service line. I recommend this desk for anyone with a growing set up. I'll update a few months down the road on how it holds up since some people have said it breaks down. ____ I usually ignore the reviews and tend to look at the positives, but it seems this time I'm part of the 3% that had an issue with their desk. Both F table tops had chips and missing pieces but the shipping box seemed fine, the H table top ( U shape) was missing an insert, and the bottom U shape was slightly bent. I wouldn't mind gluing the insert so it could be built, but the chipped top is just a sore thumb. Other than that installing was easy till I hit that bump in the road, the pictures are clear and easy to read/ understand. I'm glad everyone else had no issues with their desk. ---

Pros: Affordable (especially with coupons when available, might want to try and contact seller about those) Easy to Assemble Sturdy & Well Designed Includes the headset hook & organizer on the side which you can install on either side of the desk. Cons: Slight Wobble on Carpet if you have a tendency to shake your knees like I do (Easy Fix, just place a large fatigue or plastic mat, one you would use for gaming/office chairs, under the legs to add more stability) Rundown: If you are looking for an L-Shaped Desk within the $95-$135 range, this is an ideal product that will fit your needs. It is a huge space saver and has plenty of surface area for your computer. It also has enough space to fit 2 monitors & Tower safely. There is a reviewer who posted a video about how unstable the leg is during setup and he managed to break a screw into the leg. Just be firm but gentle during the process. The leg frame will be stable once you put everything together. Customer Support was fast and efficient with their response to replacing some screws that I misplaced and if you had some doubts about some of the negative experiences or reviews, I recommend contacting Casaottima Store Customer Support through Amazon for any problems you have during or after setup.

Prior to this desk, I had a big, lunky desk with a hutch on it. Purchasing this desk has helped me save space in the room that it's in as well as reduce the amount of dust that collects in my computer. I'm pleasantly surprised at the durability and sleek look of the desk top pieces. The instructions were picture only, but if you've ever put together Legos, then you should be able to put together this desk pretty easily. They give you everything you need to assemble it, from screws to Allen wrench. You assemble it upside down, for easy access to the metal pieces, and once you're done, you can just flip it over as it's very light. I assembled it myself with no help, so two people are not required. The metal pieces that make up the legs are put together in a way that gives it a very strong and secure feel, and I like the fact that the metal parts of the legs slant away from the desk towards the floor, so you don't bang your knees into them at all when sitting at the desk. It's very sturdy, with no wobble to the desk itself. The monitor panel wobbles slightly, but that's because the metal U-shaped piece that secures the panel to the desk probably isn't long enough. If they made the U-piece longer it probably wouldn't wobble at all. The wobbling only happens if I physically try to shake the desk though, so normal use will not make it wobble. You can place the monitor stand on either side of the desk according to your preference. This desk sits nicely in the corner, so I've got way more space than I used to in the room it's in. I was able to put my desktop tower on top of the desk, so it won't collect as much dust as being on the floor. I'm just really impressed with the quality and ease of use of this desk for what I paid for it (it was on sale). My old desk cost hundreds of dollars and was not as good as this desk is.

I really LOVE this desk! I ordered for my home office. Everyone that is disappointed about the quality of the desk needs to know that when you spend $70 bucks on a desk, common sense should tell you that the desk is NOT going to be solid wood & top of the line. The desk is nice & sturdy. It’s perfect for me. Here’s why I purchased this desk & why I like it so much. -It’s affordable. -It arrived on time & was not damaged. -The quality is on par with purchase price. -The measurements were accurate. It fit perfectly in the space that I needed in. -It was fairly easy to assemble. And my FAVORITE thing I absolutely LOVE about this desk, is that I am able to attach the longer piece to either side of the desk. Perfect for lefties like me! *I did not install the keyboard tray because I actually prefer my keyboard on top of my desk.

Great desk I used it now. My mom uses it so it’s held up a good four years.

Just finished setting it up and laying out my monitor and everything. REALLY sturdy and easy to assemble. Love the price and the quality is awesome!! Great for apartment spaces. It isn’t too big and not too small. It doesn’t have shelving and drawers but that’s probably a good thing - less spaces for hidden clutter. As for leg room, all you got is space below the desk. There was no damage caused by shipping and handling. It came in good shape. It has a reasonable amount of pieces to assemble and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. I purchased this after the hutch desk I got from Walmart collapsed on me. It wasn’t sturdy AT ALL and the assembly was long and arduous. Comparing both of them, this desk is a godsend. On price, sturdiness, reliability, time to assemble - this is a big win after a major loss.

This is a really great desk for the price. It's very easy to put together. It's also relatively light, so if you're wanting something for an upstairs office, then this is a good choice. The only downside I can see is it could maybe be a little more sturdy, depending what you're going to do with it. I have two 27" monitors mounted on it with a dual monitor stand. The desk will wobble a bit when I adjust them. But honestly, the only way it wouldn't do that is if it were a LOT heavier, which I wouldn't want because it's upstairs. So if you're looking for something super-sturdy, this may not be for you (look at the pictures, they'll give you a good idea). But if you want something lighter, while still strong enough to handle most computer setups, then this will work great. It's a really good deal for the price. I really like how it's put together. Very fast and easy to assemble.

This desk is exactly what I was looking for, it even made me feel like a Dj while taking a break from studying (shape and size). I’ve been wanting a desk and shopping around for quite a long time and finally went with this one. What do I like about it? The space and size (you have space and then some), sturdiness, perfect if you’re working on multiple things at once, did I say the space (on top/underneath desks). I don’t really know how else to put it besides get this desk if you’re shopping for an L shape desk. One thing I don’t like is my knees hitting the bar in the middle but I’ve figured out how to scoot in to avoid that plus I have long legs. But truly this is one of the most productive items I’ve brought off Amazon. This desk makes you want to work on whatever you’re working on. Plus it’s easy to assemble, just be careful that they’re all facing the right way as the directions entails lol and take your time putting it together that will eliminate the mistake I made.
