These are now my go-to sunglasses, although when I first received these I admit, I thought they looked cheaply made. I'm not sure if it was the matte frame, how lightweight they are, or the thin arms, but I was less than impressed when I first took them out of the box. BUT, after sitting on these twice and having them survive at the bottom of my purse (with my keys) for the past two months, I can definitely say that these are true RayBan material. The Erika's have become my everyday sunglasses mostly because of the amazing fit. I also have the RB3044 (small Aviators) and RB2132 (52mm Wayfarers) and the Erika's are by far the best fitting pair of Ray Bans I own. Because it's listed as a 54mm, I was nervous it would be too wide for my petite oval-shaped face, but surprisingly the frames do not extend past my face frame. Arms fit snugly at my temples (so unlike the 52mm Wayfarers, they don't slip off when I look down), and are long enough that I can comfortable sit them on top of my head (unlike the short-armed small Aviators). The subtle cat eye look and gradient is trendy but not over the top.

Speaking of driving, these sunglasses are a game changer when it comes to driving, especially toward the sun. I often find myself driving during sunrise or sunset, and these sunglasses really help cut down on the glare without distorting my view. The lenses are dark enough to provide relief from harsh sunlight but not so dark that it’s hard to see clearly, which can sometimes be an issue with other sunglasses. They strike the perfect balance, making driving more comfortable and safer. Overall, the Ray-Ban RB4171 Erika Round Sunglasses are an amazing combination of style, comfort, and functionality. They look great, fit well, and offer excellent protection from the sun. Whether I’m driving, out for a walk, or just enjoying a sunny day, these sunglasses are always with me. Beautiful! Exactly what I expected, and as far as I can tell—totally real (all the typical hallmarks of Ray-Bans, and I’ve been a customer since 1987!). Sadly, there were two brand-new Kate Spade slider bracelets inside of my box. Worried that whoever packed my parcel is missing them. The pair are even worth more than the glasses! :( Posting this here. Hoping that will help find the owner.

Troisième paire en 15 ans, c'est reparti pour au moins 7 ans. De forme classique re-visitée, elles ont la couleur de monture et de verre que je voulais (écaille + G15). Elles sont très légères, tiennent bien sur mon nez. Les branches sont fines contrairement à celles que je viens de finir par casser (à force de mauvais traitement), donc cette fois, je peux voir sur le côté ^^. Les verres G15 sont ceux que je préfère car ils ne dénaturent pas les couleurs et offrent un confort visuel que je ne retrouve chez aucune autre marque. Absolument ravie d'avoir pu les trouver via Amazon (Optical Discount) sans avoir à courir par monts et par vaux.

PROS: -Ya no ves esos destellos de los espejos o faros de los autos que cegan gracias al polarizado. -Las cosas no se ven ultra oscuras, al contrario de ven con colores ricos y balanceados con un filtro sepia verdoso muy agradable. -No tienen gomas en el puente de la nariz, es plástico y a mí me resulta más cómodo de usar. -Vienen empacados dentro de su estuche de piel y paño limpiador (me tocó el café claro). -Son de protección 3P, o sea alta protección polarizados. -La estructura en general se siente resistente y sólida. CONTRAS: -Son algo costosos, pero valen la pena cada centavo.
