Terry John Woods' Summer House

Lovely book with lots of inspiration. I will look at it over and over.

Absolutely love Terry John Woods' Summer House book! The images are beautiful and peaceful looking with the soft, beachy colors. The text is terrific, also. There is a nice mix of up-close pictures and full room views. Terry also mixed in some old, early 20th century beach/group photos of people - family, maybe? I keep coming back to this book again and again, just to enjoy looking at the pictures!

Beautiful images.Country cottage style reminds you of stays at summer camps, lake cabins and grandma's. Relaxing. My kind of summer.

I have purchased dozens of decorating books. This is page after page of close up shots of flea market finds. It is much more of a photography book (more appropriate to instagram) that it is a decorating inspiration. Really disappointed because what I had found of Terry Woods' on Pinterest was inspiring and so I bought two of his books. Both major disappointments.

Really good resource for decorating ideas

I was disappointed in this book. I love cottage style décor books and always love getting ideas for my home, but this book was a dud for me.

I think I sent this one back-did not like it at all, even tho I do have a summer house, no good ideas.

Summer House is a book that will take you far away from the trials and tribulations of everyday life. Here, time has stood still, it is always fine and tea has just been served on the veranda. This book is the perfect inspiration for anyone who has ever dreamt of a tranquil retreat. It can be used as design and colour inspiration for a project of your own, or simply enjoyed for the peace it contains within.
