Q: I don’t see a button on the side, Where is it? And how do I turn it on or whatever to make this thing light up?

HI! Sorry its so confusing, there are actually two steps. The first is a little white tab on the bottom, under the carriage on the wand part but nearest the carriage, pull it out, its just so it doesn't turn on and waste the battery life. The on/off button is on the other side of where the white tab was but instead of being on the wand near where the carriage meets it, its on the base of the carriage itself closest to the wand (kind of between the two front small wheels). I hope this helps, I was trying to figure out a way to send pictures and will work on it if my instructions still don't make sense. Enjoy!!!!!

Q: Possible purchase bubble bottle only?

I myself do not sell just the bottle only

Q: How do you get the wand to light up with the different colors?

There’s a switch on the side that turns it on. If you turn it to the right it only lights up, no bubbles. If you turn it to the left it blows bubbles and lights up. You cannot change it to different colors though, it goes through all the colors automatically when it is on (that’s what the seller meant)
