GradyPet Probiotics Plus Prebiotics and Digestive Enzymes for Dogs and Cats: Digestive Remedy, Vomiting, Allergie,Itch Relief and Loose Stool Formula

We have 4 cats, one with a very sensitive stomach (vomits) and another with 4 food allergies. (Ugh! It's a pain in the rear, let me tel you.) I was using FortiFlora for all our cats at every meal because it was helping the one with the sensitive stomach and made their coats lustrous. Recently, the one with the sensitive stomach started throwing up again after eating, though it seemed to be only the FortiFlora she was upchucking, and the one with allergies started scratching. (We have all our cats on the food she can eat.) Since brewers yeast is one of her allergens and the cat with a sensitive stomach reacts poorly to it, too, I suspected FortiFlora might have begun added yeast to their ingredients. It's not very scientific, I know, but when I switched to this, the symptoms in both cats disappeared. And their coats are even softer than they were with FortiFlora. And here's the best part. The cost of FortiFlora at the cheapest I could get is $116.99 for just 180 grams. It comes in pre-measured pouches which seems like it would be handier but it's not. It's a real inconvenience. Plus, I swear that quite a few of the pouches didn't have a whole gram's worth in them. I don't have something that can weigh a gram, it's a minuscule amount, but I think we can all tell the difference if you pour out one packet and almost nothing comes out and the next packet has at least twice that amount. With this stuff I get 114 grams for just $25.95. That's 180 grams at $117 vs 114 grams at $26. That's a huge difference! And, seriously, scooping out of a jar is so much easier and quicker than opening packet after packet - some with less in it that the next. This way, I'm in charge of how much each cat gets: Depending on the size of the cat I'm feeding, I use between half of a 1/8th teaspoon to 1/8th teaspoon twice a day (over food) per cat. It's so much more convenient than having to open packets! I am so glad I found this stuff!

I ordered this digestive product for my 3 cats and 3 dogs. I am extremely pleased with the results I have seen with my pets. Between occasional vomiting and loose stools between my gang I see it all!! Since using this product I have seen a big change. Wow!!! No more vomiting and upset stomachs! I love how economical this product it! Plus I can use it on both cats on dogs! I use it every day . I give it 6 stars!! This is the only brand for me. I would also like to give a big thank you to Joe at Grady Pets for his helpfulness. The customer service I received was outstanding. A great product from a great company!! I highly recommend!! This product has really helped out Rottweiler mix. I have tried other products with just the probiotics but this has the digestive enzyme and has helped him so much. He was eating grass, passing gas, had bowel problems and sometimes vomiting and waking me up in the middle of the night to eat grass. He has not had any of those issues after being on this product for over a week. I gave it a 4 just because there was powder in the box that it came in. The seal was not attached. There was a tab but there was a trace amount of powder all over the product and the other item shipped with it. I will be ordering in the future and hope this is resolved.

This product arrived promptly and in good condition. I began using it for my cat with a loose stool situation, very hopeful. The reason I am only giving the product 3 stars is this: I've been prompted to write a review but have only been using the product on my cat for a week or less. So far there has been no result whatsoever. Of course I need to give it more time. Further, if after more time it still does not help tighten up her stool, I do realize it may not be the fault of the product, as it may not be what is needed to help her situation. I will come back and amend this review once more time has passed.

I have a 12+ year old cat who seems to have acquired an excessively sensitive stomach,and arthritis...As well as a Yorkie with the common Hip Maladies.. I have now introduced, L-lysine, Natural Enzyme aids and Pro-Pre-biotics as an intervention! Both are moving around much more freely! And the Kitty with the sensitive tummy has a new lease on life! --He was throwing up (no hairball- just food or bile) 5x's a day .. He rarely throws up at all any more.. so happy, because as they get older.. life is hard enough without having to feel bad too! This current one seems to be helping as well as the others I tried, but he can taste this so I have to use just the tiniest bit! The Yorkie woofs it down, and is getting up and down the stairs like he did as a puppy!! Both the Enzyme digestive aids, the joint-hip supplement, an the pre-pro-biotics have played an enormous part in increasing the quality of their lives!! It is so much worth the $$$ -- Although Pricey, for a cat and a tiny dog, the jars include more than 100-200 servings.... I takes less than 1/8 of a tsp - So will last for quite some time- remember the quality of the additives remain higher if you keep them refrigerated ! My cat Luigi has colitis. When I started giving him probiotics, he stopped having blood in his feces. After a week on this product, he started bleeding again. I switched to Nulife #1 Best Probiotics for Dogs and Cats with Antioxidants and the bleeding stopped. This product did nothing for any of my three cats. It was a waste of money.
