We live in the woods and have a lot of critters that like to get into our birdhouses. While I do like all of our critters, I feel compelled to protect the bird houses. If we are going to lure birds to nest in our houses, we at least owe them some kind of protection. This product is perfect for that application. I want to note that these items will arrive to you in a small box and they need to be assembled. They are very easy to put together and go together quickly. One doesn't need directions to figure it out...it's a "no-brainer". The metal bases that housethe spikes do bend if needed. I wrap them round the tree trunk under the bird houses with the spikes facing outward. This prevents raccoons and even snakes from being able to scale the tree to get to the bird house. We've had great success with this type of product in the past and this is the best price I've found. We also use these on our deck posts that are under our bedroom deck. Those rascally raccoons used to like to get up onto our bedroom deck and use it as their potty. This product wrapped around the posts under that deck instantly solved that problem. Squirrels won't go past these spikes either, so they can be used on bird feeder posts. So if you are wondering what all can be done with these, here are a few ideas, along with lining window sills and even eves under roof-lines. They are incredibly useful.

We had swallows at our clubhouse that were building nests in the breezeway. These spike strips were very unobtrusive to people, but the birds could no longer find a place to make their mud nests. Nice SS material. You can bend the spikes if you need to. It takes about 3 minutes to set up a strip. Each strip is a series of spikes that are pretty stiff and definitely deter the birds. You will not be disappointed. 14 feet of strips. And each strip fit in the open ceiling bays between the rafters/joists.

Excellent product. Within hours of its installation it appears to have solved my squirrel problem. The following is the sequence of events (unfortunately I can upload only one video): Apr 21 7:17 am - Sammy squirrel jumps from my stairs to the railing onto my Ring camera and then onto my roof from where he enters a nest he's built by chewing through one of my gable end vents. Apr 21 4:53 pm - The REMIWAY Sikes have been installed on the Ring camera and on the railing. Sammy approaches and is unwilling to chance the spikes. Apr 21 4:56 pm - Sammy tries to study the situation and figure out how to get around the spikes. Sammy leaves, clueless. Apr 21 6:45 pm - Sammy returns 2 hours later to give it another look and scouts around for alternative routes up. Apr 21 6:54 pm - Sammy gives it one more look before accepting defeat. Too bad, Sammy. Not today, Champ!

The product required assembly that I was not aware of. Once assembled, I feel it would be easy to install using the provided tape, however, I cannot speak about how adhesive the product might have been to my porch light cover. I also can't speak as to if the product actually would work.

This worked perfectly to deter the pigeon that kept trying to make a nest in the three small arches on my house.

These spikes did the trick. My "squirrel proof" bird feeder was not actually. Placed a couple of rows of the spikes on the top of the bird feeder and now the squirrels struggle to access the food. Price is good for ease and apparent quality of the spikes. They are not 100% as some squirrels just crawl over the spikes - some abs! But mostly they are deterred and has helped greatly.

Well it really helped me in avoiding pigeons from coming and pooping in the balcony. The thing I feel which was missing is any kind of adhesive as i have to invest more money to put it on the edges. It is quite difficult on the brick wall. But overall the product quantity and quality is nice

These spikes were very easy to assemble. I got these to keep my cat from jumping up on my balcony railing. It works! The cat scat models that I tried earlier did not. Very pleased with this purchase.

Takes a while to put together but after it was assembled was happy with it! I have some on the top of my fence and some in my garden to keep cats away! Works well !
