Bright and reacts well. I would like it if better if it would dim and stay on at night

My porch light hasn't worked (even with a new bulb) for years and I finally got tired of not having any outside light at night. Initially I only ordered a 2 pack to put on either side of my porch steps. They worked great, picked up human movement from pretty far out and the stray cats rarely triggered them. But I found they only stay on for about a minute before needing to be triggered again. Normally that would be fine but my mother is approaching 60 so she walks slow sometimes and by the time I'm inside she's left in the dark for most of her walk to the porch. So I bought more, and set them in intervals from the end of our trailer all the way up to the porch. In my opinion having them now set about 10 feet apart is perfect, the first one triggers as she gets out of my car and before she leaves the light of that one the next triggers, so she's never left in the dark. I would recommend getting heavy duty, weather proof, double sided tape to put them where you want them just in case you need to move them for any reason you won't be leaving holes from the hardware.

These lights work extremely well and are easy to install. The only thing that keeps me from giving them a solid 5-star rating is that occasionally one will not work as effectively as most others. They're installed with equivalent access to sunlight for recharging but occasionally one will not shine as brightly as other and will not respond to movement as well.

We have a deck with a L-shape ramp and because of furniture & railing spot light over the door doesn't light it so bought these for that. I screwed 4 Baxia lights to railing for long part of ramp and these for short part. First the plastic these are molded out of is thinner than others but that also made these smaller and that has worked out better. The on button unlike others were recessed or on back this is next to motion sensor but well protected behind rubber cover so easy on and off. The battery looks like simple to replace just remove 4 screws from back cover and pop out old battery add new one. Since these are only needed on when walking on the ramp they are working out fine giving off more than enough light. If you need only 2 or size is a issue take a look into these.Update: installed and they are working perfectly, really light up the ramp just wish had these years ago. Had 2 dogs and one had poor eye sight at night, this would have helped him so much. If you have pets and let them in your yard at night really should look into light like these, many models and shapes to pick from.Note: As pointed out by others the light has a blue tint which could be the lcd aren't behind a frosted cover that would filter that.Update: 2021 and after nasty winter still going strong, solar panels are showing same haze auto lights have but can be cleaned off great not effecting chargingUpdate: its October starting another winter and found the lights dimmer which might be battery starting to fail which is pretty soon but one of the Baxia is having the same effect. Guess I'll be changing out the batteries going to little larger capacity just sticking to the same type.Update: 2022 and still very dim so going to replace these with updated brand. Still work just very weak light now so would not buy this brand lights they don't hold up at lest fir me.

I honestly didn't expect much for the price but these lights are bright and work perfect with the motion. Solar panels keep it charged. Very pleased.

Bought these for my camper and they’re exactly what I needed. Lights are nice for night time, motion sensor works great. Would definitely buy again if needed

It's been a while.....I bought Aug 2021. I know it's over a year, so give it decent stars for lasting. Now I have to move the switch from off to on, to a motion detection, myself. There seems to be a short. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. it's working less and less at this point and I had to Super glue/gorilla glue this up over my door, so now I'm stuck with a permanent attachment that is working less and less. So much for foreign-made.......Good news is I bought a set of six, and hopefully once I removed this, I'll be able to replace it with a fresh one. I'd hoped for longer life because of the solar power, but...... I guess it's not the quality I expected. As a permanent installation, I expected a longer life.
