There were harrowing scenes of abuse which broke my heart and cried for Ellie. I cheered as Connor lovingly rescued her and gave her the space to heal. After her abusive husband is arrested, that story is put into the background and the story focuses on Connor and Ellie’s love story. There were a few steamy scenes and deeply emotional scenes. The characters are real and relatable. The emotional scars Connor and Ellie carry are impactful even years after the events which caused them. It is a story of second chances at love, at life, family unity and finding strength in yourself and with others. I enjoyed Connor and Ellie’s story. I enjoyed that the story leads to the next couple’s story. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. After finishing this story, I immediately added the rest of the series to my book wish list. I highly recommend Come Back for Me.Come Back for Me is available in paperback, eBook, and audiobook

Beautiful story of hidden secrets, lost Love, finding love again and willing to accept the past absence forward. The characters pull at your heart strings and you keep rooting for them that they find their way.

Honestly everything about this book we well written and the story was fantastic! Can’t wait to read the next one!

I loved that the book talked about real life things, I also enjoyed the twists in the book, but I was hoping for a little more blunt smut. This book is very very mushy with love and feelings.

I loved the pace of the story, it moved thoroughly and never felt stalled or slow. I loved Connor's protectiveness and Ellie's strength. Hadley was funny and sassy and I love stories with kids, it always makes the story seem more fun.

I enjoyed reading this book!These emotional characters were filled with a great amount of depth, their background gave so much more to the development of the storyline which is solid and a consistent page turner. The story flowed easily throughout the pages. A must read!

Corinne NEVER disappoints!She’s the freaking best and I loved this book!This story is packed with angst and emotional moments, but mainly with swoony ones!Connor is absolutely EVERYTHING and I can’t wait to read Declan and Sean’s stories to see if they can keep up with their youngest brother!Amazing story! Five stars!

This book had everything. It had emotional turmoil, drama, love, romance, anger, hurt, everything. I loved every part of this book.It was hurting to watch Ellie go through the pain and Connor suffering his own demons. Hadley being cute and lovable. It was all in one.It's my first book of Corinne Michaels and I loved it.Can't wait to read more.

One unforgettable night for Connor and Ellie.Connor tried to escape his painful past and Ellie wanted an outlet after her parent's death and her upcoming wedding. A wedding of convenience but no love. Looks like life had another plan for them and this night was never forgotten. The first book of the series which shows the love of two wonderful people.

Nice and sweet story, it keeps you hooked until the end.

This book!!!! THIS BOOK took me to places I didn't think I wanted to be and yet, Ms. Michaels took me there as a willing captive; one that eventually admitted to herself that Connor Arrowood had done the IMPOSSIBLE!!! He has overtaken my undying, unconditional love for a Dreamboat of a man and I'm not at all ashamed to admit it! He is ALLLLL the things I've come to expect from this author....and sooooooo much more!In typical Corinne Michaels fashion, this book has enough angst and drama to sink a battleship! Especially when it comes to what the Arrowood brothers have had to deal with and overcome from a past none of them thought they'd HAVE to, and what Ellie and her daughter Hadley are currently being subjected to. I thought my heart would explode into a million tiny little pieces....and it DID, but then, Connor's Alpha-to-the-MAX swoon factor kicked in and I was a goner! Completely and TOTALLY obliterated my heart for any other! Although, to be fair, I think the OTHER Arrowood brothers may just give Connor a run for his money because, from what I already know about them, their DNA is STRONG and they are cut from the same cloth, sooooooo.........As for Ellie, I don't know that I have EVER felt THIS much emotion for a heroine (certainly not one of Ms. Michaels') Ellie is so amazing, so resilient, so strong (even if SHE doesn't think so!) Her fierce love for Hadley, the daughter she would die to protect, her willingness to do whatever it takes to get out of the situation she finds herself in (through no fault of her own) and her vulnerable heart made me fall just as much in love with her as I did with the sexy-as-all-get-out neighbor of hers! And Hadley!!!!! My heart cracked wide open while getting to know this little spit-fire (right along with Connor and everyone else!) I can't wait to see what happens with with her in the future! I'm sure it'll be hilarious to watch her wrap ALL of the Arrowood men around her tiny little finger!Once again, THIS BOOK has wrapped itself around my heart and gotten into my soul in a way that few books ever do! I can say with confidence that Come Back For Me will remain on my TOP READS LIST of 2020 throughout the year.....it's just THAT good! It's a DEFINITE MUST READ, imo!
