1/2" Drill Bit for Plastic (Acrylics, Plexiglas, Lexan, ABS, PVC, and More) for Hand Held Drills

Successfully drilled through the wall of an acrylic box without cracking it. But be careful of your speed and don't start the bit when it gets stuck and grabs the plastic. Back it out and slowly work your way through. Take your time and you should be able to be successful.Tip: Take a match or lighter and lightly melt around the rough edge around the hole. I think this will help any future cracks from propagating out from the hole. Don't breath in any fumes. You literally just need to heat up the rough area until it is smooth, do not light the plastic on fire... The acrylic I was working with needs to hold water so I was careful about making even the slightest of cracks.

We use these a lot. Will not run out.
