Bought this book to read to my daughter because we are taking a trip to Japan. Has fun information about the country that is helping us understand the culture and prepare us for the trip. Matter of fact, if I hadn't read this book beforehand I would not have realized that our trip is occurring during the rainy season. Caused me to buy raincoats for the whole family to travel in.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my neighbors 9 year old. Overall the content in the book is great and I like the quiz at the end. I wish the book was a little more mature looking (not every page looks like the pictures I’ve posted) but overall it’s cute.

My mother speaks fluent Japanese, but I never learned it. So this book was fun for me to read as she helped me with the pronunciations & optional versions. This will go to my grandchildren to introduce them to Japanese when we visit them....after COVID-19!

Although I am not the target audience of this book I really enjoying reading about japan and it’s culture. I thought it was organized well into sections, shared important and fun information about Japan, but also left room for readers to research Japan more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in Japan.
