Not my favorite jewelry book. It is organized by decade but they are virtually indistinguishable. Lots of simple wire wrapped three or four bead bouquet designs, tied together with a few textiles. This is problematic to me as often I find that wire wrapped pieces snag on blouses and that's not cool, more time needs to be spent explaining how to prevent that.

Love this book, but have seen better. Still, it's worth having in your "arsenal" library. Haven't had time to make anything from the book, but I love, love, love vintage pieces.

This bookk does not provide enough project information. I vieiwed this book more as a history lesson by the author then a project book. I would not recommend this book to anyone that is looking to make vintage jewelry.

A wonderful book to inspire you! A friend of mine is getting married in a Great Gatsby dress and I am making wedding party jewelry pieces - the use of this book has guided me in my own creations. Thank you for a fab book!

I wouldn't recommend buying this book without looking at it first, because it wasn't what I expected from the title. Many of the projects don't look vintage to me. And in case you were wondering, it does not show you how to make the pretty ribbon roses used in the cover piece, although it does show you how to make another fabric flower used in another piece. It also provides instruction and templates for several fabric bags with beaded embellishments, which I wasn't expecting. The photography and illustrations are very good.

l have not used this book as yet but will use it when the time is right for me to do so
