Mantra Of Joy

If I just purchase one Cd a year, this will be the Cd I don't want to miss. I listen to it while I was surfing (the web of course), reading, chating with friends and on and on. It makes me so happy. The beat of drum is very light-hearted, good vocal arrangement. It's uplifting. The secret words of the Mantra of Joy "on dalieh du dalieh dulieh souha" is the Green Tara mantra of Tibetan Buddhism. According to Tibetan Buddhism's beliefs, this mantra can not only eliminate diseases, troubles, disasters and karma, but will also bring believers blessings, longer life and even the wisdom to transcend one's circle of reincarnation. It has five different ways to 'chant' this mantra. It could be graceful female vocal or male solo or powerful rap-Taibet-lama chant or middle-east drumming or islander celebration. Awesome! Be alive is such a wonderful thing!

I purchased this about a couple of weeks ago and practice Green Tara. I love the music and the songs give you such positive feelings. I highly recommend anyone looking for mantra of Green Tara to go with your meditations. Excellent!!!!

I bought this cd because I had heard a sample of the vocal called Mantra of Joy. I would have been very happy if the entire cd played this version of the mantra from beginning to end. Unfortunately the other selections/interpretations of Ohm Tara were absolutely awful. I love the beauty and timelessness of ancient invocational and sacred music. Why folks ruin the spiritual effectiveness of that music by putting a contemporary flair to it is beyond me, but they should so state that in their marketing so buyers are not expecting something else.

Same good music as the first one I ordered, but the first one had tons of information including all the words. This new copy has zero words in the cover, very disappointting

I bought this CD on the strength of its first and last soundtrack - exquisite female vocals singing the Om Tara mantra. If you enjoy that mantra - there are several variants of it on the CD - then this CD is a must-have.

I love this CD. The track "Secret Words of Ecstasy" is easily one of my all time favorites. I can listen to it again and again and find it fun and soothing.

No words can even describe the joy and love felt with this purchase, so amazing! Namaste

I heard this CD at a workshop and happily purchased it a few days later.Great to have it in my CD library.

Lovely uplifting mantra.It comprises several different versions of the Green Tara mantra.Tara being the mother of all Buddhas.The first and last track are sung by a woman (and sounds so pure!) while just one othertrack is sang by a man. It's equally as good. Just gives it a different dimension.The other tracks I'm personally not too keen on. There are a bit like pop mantras.If you like that sort of things then it's fine. The music acompanying the mantra is ok.
