Assessing Learners with Special Needs: An Applied Approach, Enhanced Pearson eText with Loose-Leaf Version - Access Card Package Review: Format Friendly - Didn't know I would like this format (Loose Leaf), however I do! I popped it in a three ring binder and I like the accessibility (lays flat), This format saved a few pennies and works for me in the previous ways. The content is a simple read for an ever changing educational environment. Would recommend it to my classmates and colleagues. Review: Cheaper than college book store - Needed this for a class and found it a little cheaper here than from the college bookstore. It includes a digital copy (for a year) that allows for easy text to speech and searching of the text which is great for assignments and studying.

Good Buy
This is a great book. I bought it for one of my classes and it is very informative. There is really good and easy to understand information for anyone studying Special Education. There are times the authors are a bit verbose, but overall it's a really good book.

No eText Access
The etext access code does not work so I've paid $80 just for a looseleaf book. If I had known that the etext would not work, I would have looked for a used book and paid less. I have been online with Pearson for over an hour and they are NO HELP. UPDATE: I got disconnected, had to start another chat. The customer service rep was finally able to connect me to the etext. HOWEVER, Pearson's platform does not support text-to-voice, which is the reason I get texts. LESSON: If you want to use text-to-voice for this book and also have a printed copy, buy a used book for less and go to vitalsource.com to rent the ebook. VitalSource offers text-to-voice and lots of other features that Pearson does not.
