Battery 14.4V 5Ah Replace for Bosh BAT607 BAT607G BAT614 BAT614G

It's seems to be a great replacement battery, I picked up a second battery. Note Lithium Ion batteries should never be run to full discharged, Lithium Ion batteries are known for failing after being fully discharged. I have no idea if this battery includes a protection circuit, not interested in finding out the hard way.

So - this is one of the very few batteries that meets the advertised capacity. This alone makes me want to give it five stars - really - it's that rare.That said, I just cant. This battery has no protections or BMS of any kind. It's just eight 18650 cells in a 2P4S arrangement - directly tied to the output terminals. There's a thermistor, but it just feeds out.Now, this may be the way the OEM battery was designed as well (unlikely) - but that's no excuse for a modern Li-ion battery to be constructed this way, in fact - it's dangerous.It does have the 4Ah advertised capacity - but charging and using this battery is a liability.
