Galison Vintage Toy Trains Puzzle, 300 Pieces, 21.25” x 16.14” – with Colorful Vintage Toys Trains on an Antique Map – Challenging, Perfect for Family Fun, Multicolor

My partner and I finished this in one session of a few hours. The pieces are very regular, which on the one hand can make it tricky to find exactly the right piece, but on the other hand decreases the complexity of the puzzle grid. The design is beautiful, but once you sort pieces into general color families, it's pretty trivial to work from one or the other edges as each pattern and color is contained mostly within the regular "block" or wedge of a tie. (The brown/gold edge is tougher than the red edge as the demarcation between patterns is harder to spot.) Well made, though, and almost no puzzle dust. Very pleasing one-session puzzle if you want something that's fun but not so frustrating.

I love this puzzle, it is just beautiful and the quality is really good. I will be buying more, because the colors are just beautiful, the size of the puzzle pieces are great because being mature in age, I can see them better to put items together. Not may puzzle with large pieces are make well but this one is not one of them. I would recommend this company.

Our family has always loved puzzles but during the recent COVID shut down we kicked things up and worked puzzles like mad, finishing up new ones every few days. We discovered Galison puzzles and decided they are our new favorites (Ravensburger and Eurographics are great too). The Galison puzzles have crisp images and the pieces fit together so well that there is no doubt if a piece is in the correct spot or not. The image I've attached just doesn't do this puzzle justice - my picture doesn't show the glossiness and richness of the image. Even though we normally do 1000 piece puzzles this 500 was 'just right' in terms of difficulty. Buy it, you won't regret it!

This was such an enjoyable puzzle to do! It’s quick, but not boring. Different sections can be done by multiple people at the same time or by just you at different times. I love that a second copy of the image is included so that everyone doesn’t have to fight for the box at once. This was my second Galison puzzle and I look forward to purchasing more from this company.

LOVED this puzzle! I would rate it a low-medium difficulty level and estimate that it takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The quality of the pieces is above average for the price point with very sturdy (albeit slightly thin) cardboard and bright white backing which makes it easy to identify pieces which have yet to be flipped over. Overall, the puzzle is fun and relaxing with lots of small sections that can be completed independently based on color and pattern...and for me, that is the most rewarding type of puzzle because you can see it coming together in a non-frustrating way. I would recommend this puzzle to any jigsaw lover.

We love Galison puzzles. This one was much easier than the other newer Galison puzzles because the shape of the pieces was not all that unique. They kinda fell into a predictable order. And the straight lines from the neckties helped. So I would say this is an “easy” puzzle. We enjoyed it. It comes with a separate printout of the puzzle image so that if you’re working with another person, you don’t have to fight over the box lid to see the image. Also, it comes in a beautiful storage box. A+ for presentation.

I love this puzzle and it's a really good price for the quality. It came in an adorable, well made, 10X10" box with the image printed on it, and a nice finish. When I opened it, there was a separate picture of the puzzle for reference. The image on the pieces are sharp, the colors are vibrant and the pieces fit together we;ll. The puzzle is apparently printed on a type of plastic or foam core so they are light in weight. I noticed that when you drop a piece into a pile it makes a clicking sound when they hit each other,. which I like. Makes it kind of whimsical and fun. I will definitely buy more puzzles from this maker.

All time top favorite three!!!! Fast being 500 pieces, the colors are so bright and it’s such a fun one to do! Great gift idea. I was able to do this in a hospital room easily because of the size.

I bought two puzzles from this company and they are exceptional. The die-cuts are super clean with no off-cut dust and the print resolution is very high. Packaging is lovely too. Lockdown puzzling doesn’t get much better than this. Very enjoyable.

I had never done a puzzle by this brand before and I usually do puzzles that have more pieces, but I really enjoyed this one. The quality of the pieces is very good and the quality of the image is great - very clear and sharp. The colours are bright and cheerful!

Not the most difficult but the quality is excellent. The colors are beautiful and the print medium is top notch - not cheap cardboard.

One of my top favourite puzzles, have done a lot of puzzles, this one I loved doing. Pieces clicked together well, colours bright and clear.
