I am so pleased with this little light! I wake up at 6am for work and at that hour, the bedroom closet in my new apartment is pitch black. In order to not disturb my SO, I was resorting to having to use the flashlight on my phone to see any of my clothes.This is going to make my life so much easier. I tested the motion detection on this a few times and it works very well; I love that I won't need to fiddle with a switch. If your closet is a black hole like mine was, get this now. You won't regret it!Just a note - don't try to use the adhesive to stick it onto a wall or shelf, it will fall down every time. Turns out that the magnetic side is waaaaay better for this. I was about to leave a one star review after the 5th time it fell down, but then I realized that you can reverse the sticky 3M side and use the magnetic side facing out instead.

I got this to put in my stairwell for my early morning wake up calls. I get up before my wife pretty regularly and our hall light shines right in the bedroom door. I stuck this at the top of the stairs and now I can just walk up and have the light that I need that doesn't wake her up.The light is very bright for it's size and the batteries seem to last a while even with my cats turning it on inadvertently during the night. The motion sensor seems to work pretty well and activates when either myself or my cats walk by. Installation is a magnetic sticker that will damage the wall when I eventually have to take it down, but the magnet makes it easy and damage free to take it down and change batteries. I will say the battery cover is a bit of a pain, but the batteries last long enough that I don't have to deal with it frequently.Overall, a fine choice for a wireless motion light.

This light is great for illuminating our basement stairs. We recently finished our basement and have lights at the bottom, but not near the top of the stairs. The cover took a little time to come off but after adding the 4 AAA batteries, we were good to go. I love simple fixes to modern problems that don't require adding an additional light and don't require me to call an electrician. We set it to 'auto' and it only comes on when it detects motion. The 3M tape made for an easy install, no screws either (and no scuffs in the wall!)

We wanted to light up our stairs cases - one on the full staircase with a landing so when descending primarily it would lite up but not be too bright nor stay on. These were PERFECT! Since we have a large molding I decided to take tiny nails and use them to hold the light. One at the base to hold the light on the angle of the down slope of the stairs. One more in the molding to hold it in the front of the light. Works perfectly! Sometimes there is a minute delay and I could move it up an inch or so if needed, but so far this is works very well for us!We also put one where we have One large step down in our kitchen to our family room. Did the same thing. Again great. My husband has fallen on this step when he leaves early in the morning so now it lights up, he can see it easily and now it is safe for us.

The motion sensor is very responsive.The magnetized backing has good sticking qualities but can be easily taken off and repositioned if necessary. The light is bright, but not offensive (I bought the yellow-white model).Each light requires four AAA batteries (not included).I had some trouble getting the battery cover off. The only way I could manage it was to slide a narrow spoon end into the little slot on the back and give it a push (the slot is visible above the magnetic strip).

This is a very nice motion sensor light that can be used anywhere an outlet is missing. It is well made, fairly small and the 12 LEDs provide a good illumination with a nice soft yellow light. Initially placed in a dark closet without a light source attached via the magnetic strip to a shelf and the motion sensor is very responsive. The light turns off about 10 seconds after motion is no longer detected. The attachment is sturdy and does not fall off. There is no need to screw anything into the wall given that one can adhere the magnetic strip to any flat surface which allows the unit to magnetically attach and detach easily. The unit runs on 4 AAA batteries and is exactly what I was looking for.

Awesome. Motion sensor works amazingly well. I installed in a broom closet that doesnt have lights or an outlet to plug in a lamp, this thing turns on instantly. The illumination is good and has a wide angle. Does require 4 AAA batteries for each light, but supposedly will last 100,000 hours. Time will tell how long it lasts, but im only in a storage closet for only 10 seconds or less, so should last a long long time.The light turns off after about 10 seconds of walking away or closing the door. The photo i posted is to show how bright it is.I would also suggest putting on the wall instead of ceiling.Lastly, be careful of the unpeel of the sticker. It is a very thin layer. I accidentally peeled the whole tape off the light on my 1st attempt. Good product.

 I dropped this in water by accident and it still works lol. I had to apply glue for precautions since this just holds on to a sticky magnet and I didn’t want to accidentally Knock this down when I’m going to drink water in the middle of the night. This is super convenient so I’m not blinded by the brightness of my ceiling fans it’s a perfect little candle lit brightness
