K2 Resuce Shovel & Ice Axe, One Size

have not used the ice ax function so far, but the whole thing is pretty light and definitely durable. the shovel handle does not fold down, so it doesn't have any weak spots but is also a little long to fit in my backpack and a little short to be a super comfortable shovel length. that said, i hope to never really have to use this shovel and if i did i would vastly prefer strength and simplicity to having to squat a little lower to get the best leverage.

Excellent safety equipment even if it is pricy even for top of the range shovels. Axe is easy to swap over and comes in custom made pouch.

樹脂パーツ剥離。使用回数が少ない内での出来事だった為、耐久性に難あり？かもしれません。画像の赤丸部分です、ここはショベルとのジョイント部分であります。この樹脂パーツはスピッツェレスの雪止めの役割も兼ねています。現場でいきなりこれになると、厄介とまでは言いませんが良くはないです。リペアキットに接着剤も入れとかないといけませんねwwどうしてもショベルとの2'n1でなければいけないのなら、これかbcaからも販売されています。

アイスアックスのブレード取り付け穴の精度が全然ダメです、ピインと穴がずれていて、無理やり押し込むと外すのに四苦八苦します。フィールドに持ち出す前に、やすりなどで調節する必要があります。あとシャフトの長さがもう少し長い方がいいかな。

で使用。バックカントリーするわけじゃないけどカッコ良いのでつい購入。しかしこれを機にバックカントリーいいなぁと思い始めてしまった。。
