Okay, but not the best of its type of book -
High quality photos & good quality paper & printing, but is lacking in some respects: would like to have seen more traditional, and not just high-dollar hot rods. And, would have liked more info re: the guts and what work was done on the featured cars. More of a coffee table sort of book.

The Best of Hot Rods
Saw a preview of this book on the Speed Channel & having seen the work ofmany highlighted in this book, I wanted to buy it to get the details/extensivephotography provided on each.Great "car guys" coffee table book, but one I'll actually read cover to cover.

Beautiful book for the enthusiast and even the rookie Hot Rod fan. Photography is second to none and the backstory of the popular builders is great!

Love This Book!
The artwork in this book is amazing. I got this for my husband for a present and he loves it. It is an excellent book the way it is laid out. You can't go wrong buying this book. It is just absolutely beautiful.

hot rodders coffee table book
I recently purchased this book having thought about buying it for along time.I really like the large format hardback version of this book. You cannot fault the quality of the photographs or the presentation. Great care has gone into choosing and photographing the cars, and although they are not all to my taste you I found the explanatory notes and background to the photo shoots helpful and interesting.the photographs are presented in a very arty style which will appeal to others who are not dyed in the wool hot Rod fans. My wife certainly liked the book.it's a very heavy book and good value for money.

Art of the Hot Rod
This is an excellent book. The photos are beautiful and there is plenty of good information on the rod builders. If I had one complaint it was, the rod builders cars they discuss are not always shown in photographs to understand the various design features.

Very good quality book
Very heavy, good quality paper and photos, lots of descriptive text. An absolute must for anyone into hot rods. Beautiful!
