nice tool but...
great quality but this tool takes practice to get good with it andI suspect it will never work as well as the electric heated models.Have seen people use an alcohol flame to warm it up and will try that out.

No issues
I think leather working tools like this should be about 8 dollars. That being said the market is crazy right now and you commonly find tools like this costing 45 dollars or more. So I would give this good marks on relative value. Study build and my handle was surprisingly nice, and there here not defects on the business end. I got the 1.5 because the wait for the 1.2 was a month. If you find yourself on the fence between the 1.5 and I would recommend 1.2 unless you are making particularly large items. Good luck on your projects!!! Lol

Very satisfied with the purchased product
I purchased this on a whim since I needed an edge creaser that I could heat up on a heat lamp for nice darker edge lines and could not wait until I located an electric one. I liked it so much, I purchased a second one and decided not to get the electric creaser for the time being. I am very satisfied with my spur of a moment purchase and highly recommend it.

Adjustable Leather Edger
Looks very nice but very difficult to adjust width & can't get it to open up. Seems like the holes where the adjustment screw goes through are not aligned or they should be larger to allow alignment when you expand the width. The brass ferrule falls off. Very disappointed because it appears to be quality but if you can't easily adjust it is of not use.

Not good
Doesn't work very well. The creasing edge has a taper, which prevents the crease from looking crisp. I will not use this product..

a bit disappointed
I thought from reading other reviews that this would be better. I tried using on 6-7 ounce veg tan leather without heating and you could barely tell it was leaving a mark. also the adjuster wheel seems to contact the table when using it. The ferrel was loose so I had to glue it first off out of the package. barely worth returning so I will modify it and use it.
