The Dewey 1-Piece Brass Cleaning Rods feature the same Dewey quality at a great price. The 6", 9" and 24" rods have the loop handle, the 36" rod has Dewey's ball bearing handle. Both kits include a universal patch loop.

Quality, low price, long term solutions
Dewey love the quality? You bet we do! Order a drawer of these for you, you children, their children, and maybe the neighbor's children. The Quality is incredible. Dewey has different sizes for their fixed brass rods and theIR red handle ball bearing rods. If you don't have at least 3 for your necessary calibers, you are a missing out. Get them before Nancy and Chuck jump on these support products.

6" rod vs. 9" rod
The 9" allows you to clean barrels up to 9" in length. IOW, the 'loop portion' of the rod is NOT counted in this 9" measurement. Overall the 9" rod (incl. loop) is 11 1/16" long. Didn't realize this, but it also comes with a threaded patch holder. Looks like very good quality. Solid brass. Says it's "Made in USA". Unless you have an SBR or a pistol with longer than a 6" barrel, then the 6" rod is probably long enough.

Well made and a strong rod.
My only complaint and I could have gotten the shorter rods instead if I wanted to pay more for the shorter ones. The 6" would have been better for me but not paying that much difference in price. I have some longer barreled guns these will be perfect for.So far and I've only used them a couple times they are a nice rod.For years I used the old S&W aluminum rods that they used to put with the guns. They are showing age so I decided to semi-retire them and put them in my range bag just in case. Would I buy them again? I would but would probably go ahead and spend the extra money for the shorter rods. I just looked and now the shorter 6" rods are a little cheaper then the 9". Oh well story of my life .

DON’T BUY THIS FOR YOUR 22LR
The rod itself is good quality metal and a good size for handguns. It is advertised as fitting a .22 caliper weapon and the rod alone will go through the barrel of my .22 Browning but when I add a cleaning patch, it is too big to go through. I did not return it because I can use it with my 9mm and 45’s but I give it the low star rating because of the false claims that it will fit a .22LR caliper weapon.

This is a great cleaning rod for any barrel lengths up to 8".
This is a great cleaning rod for any barrel lengths up to a maximum of 8".It can also be used to help clear barrel obstructions/stuck cases. The brass construction eliminates any possible damage that may be caused by harder metal products.I mainly use this cleaning rod along with an AR-15 chamber brush. This is a solid cleaning rod, thus I am able to twist/rotate the chamber brush in order to clean out the barrel extension and chamber. Cleaning rods with swivels built into the handle won't work for this task.

Less is more.
I just received two of “6 version, and am quite pleased with the simplicity and great quality for the price.I was tired of having to use my three piece rifle rod when I cleaning my handguns (just the first 12” rod with the screw-on handle). The swiveling handle was just unnecessary, and 12” of cleaning rod seemed excessive when cleaning “4-“6 barrels. These are the perfect length for most handgun barrels (I use them on everything from a Glock 42 to a full-size 1911), and I love how simple they are. No handle to screw on... no adapter needed to take your jags or brushes... just grab it and you’re good to go. The brass is smooth and study, and looks like it could easily last a lifetime.Give the low price, I’d reccomend getting two. I keep one in the range bag, and one in my cleaning kit at home. Just perfect.

Good Basic Cleaning Rod
Well made, light, and convenient. This is what I use to saturate the barrel with solvent after shooting. When I get home, the gun gets a more thorough cleaning with jags and a rotating rod. I really like that it fits a 22 rimfire barrel. Well worth the price. Useful piece of kit.

Excellent cleaning rods; one for every caliber
These are high quality cleaning rods that are sturdy, yet won't harm barrels. I like them so much that I've acquired at least one for every caliber and leave the jag attached; also have a few extra to use with brushes, etc. A little on the pricy side, but they will last a lifetime.
