Highland Hero

I had read many of Amanda Scott's books, and enjoyed them, but this one is really hard to get into. The beginning is so slow, I had to force myself to keep reading it and 3/4 of the way through I was still forcing myself to keep reading. Usually I will sit up and read for hours into the night and I found myself putting this book down and going to sleep! It was so predictable and just plain BORING! Their are too many great authors out there, so I guess I'm moving on to someone new.

We are lucky to have Amanda cme to Scottish Games in Northern CA and she is delightful, Her books continue to intrigue and the love stories are good, too.

Again, this was just too slow for my taste and was just too boring to even finish reading. Not a good read.

Another of Amanda Scott's great novels and trilogy. She never fails to deliver! I have all her books and they are all keepers!

I love this author, such good history and romance. Cannot wait to have time during the Holidays to read the books.

Great book

I get tired of the couldn't ever happen and poorly researched romance novels where. This one had names, places, weather conditions, political situations and mistrust that seemed to more accurately depict the times and the area. While it was about the relationship, it did feel like a good historical fiction novel too, which I appreciated!

I love Amanda Scott and the Highlands so if you do too give her a go you will not be disappointed LOVE IT !!!!!
