Works great for both my dogs and they never got a single tick or flea on them this past year. Will be buying some again in the spring! A lot cheaper than the pill or liquid form. My mom and dad always swore these collars that's the only way to go. I'm a true believer now.

So far so good. My two dogs have been going through infestation with fleas for about a month that I notice. I don’t get how. They never go outside and our apartment is clean, not sure if it’s the apartment (we recently moved into) that has fleas in the carpet or what but everytime I take them a flea bath, they go away for a day but come back even worse, I don’t get how! But after a bath, I put these collars on them, three days later they are clean and flealess as of now. Usually they get them back quick again and have eggs on them but so far so good!

I have been using Hartz brand on my dogs for decades. This really works in keeping my dog’s flea free. I have two small chihuahuas and have never had a problem. I also use the Hartz flea and tick shampoo. Hartz works great and it’s affordable.

I don't have pets any more but I use this to cut up and put in my vacumm bag or canister when vacumming for fleas as a preventive from them escaping before I'm done vacumming for the day. Although I do feel a flea sometimes still alive when I'm transferring bag or canister into a plastic bag to seal the bag before throwing into outside trash bin. Fleas are a living nightmare!

I will never buy this again. I decided to try Hartz Ultra Guard because it had good reviews and a lot less than the other natural flea collars I have used in the past. Worst mistake ever and cost me more money in the end. I have an 8 year old Golden Doodle and I thought we were going to lose him. The chemicals in the flea collar made my dog sick. He went from running around full of energy to not eating and could barely move within a few days. I had to clean the dog multiple times because he did not have the energy to stand and use the bathroom. After taking him to the vet and running tests we finally figured it out. Its been 72 hours and he is finally able to eat about 25% of his normal amount and use the bathroom like normal. Spent Christmas day crying because I thought I was going to lose my best friend. This was not worth the $20 savings. I am sure this is not a normal occurrence but need to be mindful if your dog has or may have allergies. I hope this helps other dog owners avoid an emotional roller-coaster.

I’ve used these and other brands for many years on outside short haired dogs. Sometimes you get ones that work great and other ones that are absolutely worthless. One time a tick actually bit and thrived right under a new collar.. I don’t know if one brand is better than the next, it seems to be a crap shoot on brands and batches but I keep buying them. I’ve tried the drops twice with no success but I’ve heard the vet’s version works great.

Very good product that a great price

I buy Advantage II for our dog and cat but it doesn’t repel ticks, Fleas have gotten real bad so we help our fighting the flea problem. Without a good freeze we have to fight the fleas head on.
