I used the carpet tape to fix a mat on top of the carpet one week ago. So far it's stayed in place. The next test will be when the grandkids come over. It was a bit difficult to cut the tape because it was quite sticky. Have not tried to remove it so am unable to give it an accurate score.

Easy to use - used a knife to cut. Use plenty of pressure to ensure tape stick down. Still a bit of rucking of the rug (nothing like pre-taping) but perhaps should have used more tape (should have ordered a bigger roll)

Does not work sticking rugs to carpet!! Awful. Wish I could get my money back.
