KONSYL PHARMACEUTICALS Original Formula, 15.9 oz

I use this because of irritable bowl syndrome. It prevents the constipation and diarrhea cycles. It does gel when mixed with water. My method is to mix it with warm water, stir with a whisk, add orange juice, milk, vanilla, and mix with a stick blender for a few seconds. Sometimes I will add Monk Fruit sweetener. Tastes somewhat like a orange vanilla creamcicle milk shake. During the summer I will use Gatorade instead of OJ. The stick blender mixes it very thoroughly so there is very little gritty taste. I got the idea from other users suggestions for smoothies. I did find it at Walmart at a much lower cost. Definitely recommend this brand.

This product is great! Have been using if for about 3 years. I'm not perfect but I do eat extremely clean to begin with, but couldn't go a day without this product. It will certainly clean you out, and knowing it gets in to the little crooks and cranny's to remove all the "crap" that is there (no pun intended) makes me feel good because this is where a lot of illness starts. Also, my colonoscopy results last year were the best my doctor has ever seen.

I was diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis in 2002 and suffered with chronic diarrhea as result. My gastroenterologist was unable to provide me with a product that would give me the relief that this product does. I recently found out from a new friend that she has the same problem I have. She urged me to take this product seeing that it was recommended by her gastroenterologist when she lived in Florida. I had nothing to loose. I found some results on the first day I took it. I feel like a new person. I read many of the reviews in which individuals claimed the formula tasted awful. Of course it is not going to be pleasant with water alone. Add a few drops of a flavor enhancer to a half glass of cold water, Next. add a rounded teaspoon of Konsyl and stir vigorously while adding the remaining 4 oz. of water. Taking this with a total of 8 oz. of water works very well. Good luck and I hope that it gives you the relief that I got.

Great for the digestion and pooping. Helps control cholesterol. I combine it with True Athlete vanilla protein powder to get a healthy meal low in calories. That way the Konsyl tastes like vanilla and rates 5 stars

I took this product for years with great results then stopped because of the bloating. I just started up again and it's great, does what it's supposed to do, but I'm dealing with bloat again. The bloating DOESN'T go away once your body gets used to it. But I love it anyway.

My doc recommended and I am on my second container. Works as advertised.Contact manufacturer for free mixing cup. Use cold water to mix. Start with small amount per day with lots of water. Gradually build up to whatever amount you choose. Their website has some good info on fiber and how it works.Did I say drink lots of water?

When I had my last colonoscopy, the surgeon noticed diverticulosis during procedure. I have never had any systems with the diagnosis. Physician suggested to husband I use Metamucil or similar product to keep from a flare up of diverticulosis in the future. I tried to drink this stuff but it tastes awful. When I spoke to some friends who have the same problem, they recommended Miralax or equate version of same product. I put it in my coffee when needed and no change to taste of coffee at all.

I use a couple of teaspoons of this blended in with my daily morning Chocolate protein shake. My protein shake adds my flavor. I also throw in a couple of teaspoons of instant coffee. Like Mocha coffee protein shake with some granulated fiber thrown in. Fills you up, wakes you up, makes you "regular".Found it less expensive here than buying in the supermarket. It was even less expensive per container than one 3-pack listed on Amazon. I just ordered 3 of these and made my own "3-pack".
