Not Good
Replaced a 10 year rope hammock. I thought this was identical, but it's only got 10 ropes between separator bars and my old had 12. Those missing 2 ropes really do make a difference in comfort. I guess for the price it's OK, but not sure I would buy it if I had to decide again.UPDATE: 4/17/2016 - I would definitely not buy this if I had it to do over again. Very uncomfortable and very difficult to center yourself. Always seems to be trying to tip you out of the hammock.

I loved the fact it holds over 500lbs
I loved the fact it holds over 500lbs. Me, my wife and kids can get on it and feel safe. However, after just one summer, the knots slowly but surely started to unwind one by one until it was no longer usable. Really hoped it lasted years where we could create memories. Will have to find something better made.

S hooks DO NOT hold 500lbs
Just received and installed the hammock a couple of weeks ago. Loved it, BUT... in regard to the 500lb weight capacity; while the cotton rope portion of the hammock may support that weight, the "S" hooks provided DO NOT. My daughter and I tried to use the hammock together for the first time, with a combined weight of less than 400lbs, and one of the "S" hooks stretched suddenly and we fell to the ground pretty hard. Luckily, neither of us was injured too badly, aside from bruising and scrapes.In short, buy some sturdy carabiners to go along with this hammock. Hopefully the metal rings attached to the cotton rope will hold up.

Very poor quality
Very poor quality. I am wondering if this is one of those cheap knock-offs you read about. When the hammock arrived, two ropes had already worn through. I noticed only when I went to hang the hammock up. Several other ropes are frayed. I haven't tried lying in the hammock because I'm afraid it will break.Update: Unfortunately, I can't return because it is more than 30 days since I ordered. Buyer beware!

Very pleased with this hammock
Great hammock. Well made and sturdy. My husband and I swing in it together and we are a total of over 450 pounds.

I like the size and how comfortable it is. Easily holds rated weight. I bought straps to hang it so I could make adjustments on placement or height of it stretched. Spreader bars are certainly adequate although they don't appear to be coated/sealed.

Don't buy period.
It's cheaply made, there's too much give in the construction for it to be comfortable and it's too wide to be stable with just one rope at each end. Poorly engineered and made. A worthless piece of junk.

I feel like a fly in a spider web!!!!
Knots are coming undone. Weave is loose, so you fall through the webbing. The rope seems to be an inferior grade cotton blend or whatever it is, it feels cheap. Not happy
