It is soft and puffy like a bath mat. Not the best for a kitchen but was cute. It was hard to get flat as it came folded.

I love cupcake decor! Over the years I’ve gradually made my kitchen the cupcake room. As soon as I saw this, I had to have it! It’s so cute and perfect for in front of the sink. If you’re looking for a heavy duty shock absorbing mat, this is not the floor mat for you. It’s soft but there’s not a lot of cushion.

super thin, but cute as long as you aren't using it where there is high traffic, I have it in front of my baking station cabinets just for decoration
