The Unteachables

The Unteachables, by Gordan Korman, is an awesome book. With lovable characters, and hilarious scenes, this book is for students, teachers, and about everyone in-between. So, as Kiana Rubini would say, "Don't sweat it if you don't finish, you're just a short timer!"

Never a dull moment, funny, exciting, the book sucked me in, I couldn't stop reading, am going to read more of his books

This is a great and egaging story with interesting characters, a few good plot twists, and a lot of heart.

Like most of Korman's books, this has a good mix of humor and educational perseverance.A group of students whom the school gave up on years ago, are placed with a teacher who's counting down the days to his early retirement after a cheating fiasco killed hos career and dreams over a decade ago. With the help of an old enemy and an overly enthusiastic fellow teacher, maybe the class and their teacher aren't as hopeless as everyone, including themselves, expect them to be.I liked that each kid in the class, plus the teacher, had their own chapters to present the story from their own perspectives. Sometimes, that ruins a book for me - switching between people just when I connected to them. It wasn't so jostling here. The story flowed nicely, and because the plot focused mostly on their class and school instead of closeups of their personal lives, it didn't matter so much when a different kid picked up the narrative.It was a good uplifting story about the power of self belief and perseverance.

Great book, but ends with a cliffhanger. Sequel is required. Hated the author and his guts at the end. I hate cliffhangers.

Son is a huge fan of the series, great read.

Gordon Korman books were recommended by my grandson’s teacher. I had been a special education teacher, so I appreciated the individualized education that was a result of the teacher being revitalized. I enjoyed many laughs and my grandson and I enjoyed reading the book together.

This book is simply amazing! My young ladies book club chose this as our first read & it is hands down an excellent book for teenagers. It is not a genre/book I would have chosen on my own BUT I am so glad I get to read such an amazingly eye opening book. The author does a great job of highlighting the “street smarts” of kids who do not necessarily fit into the traditional “box.”

I never write reviews and read around 300 books a year but I loved this book and want to thoroughly recommend it to everyone.Give it a try.

This book was stunning, Gordon Korman is an amazing author, his books include different points of perspective from each of the characters, his books are wonderfully emotional and creative, I hope He writes more books because I would definitely read them,I recommend this book to 10+ children

Got this as a gift for my 10 year old son. He’s really enjoying it
