LOOK AT THIS REVIEW!!!!! I have tested this thing in many different ways and for over a month before writing this….this device is nothing more than a low quality dash cam….the radar detector failed to alarm with a police car sun front of it from 15 fr 500ft and 2000ft…(city and highway modes)….it also failed to alarm in front of mobile speed alert units on the side of the road ….and when it does go off nobody is around….or I’m alone in the middle of nowhere….DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ITS NOT WORTH IT ….IT ONLY FUNCTIOBS AS A DASH CAMERA

I don't understand some of the reviews. Saying it beeps for no reason when there are no cops around. Just because you don't SEE them does that make them not there? Not all radar signals are from the POLICE. It tells you what band the signal is from. Also ALL radar detectors will beep from the same stuff this one does, it's what they do. It also doesn't reset when the car is turned on and off, it just turns the power off and on to use, but the recordings don't erase till you format the memory chip again when it's full. I had mine for 3 years before I had to replace it for flickering and went through hot summers and I never had an issue with it not sticking/suction and falling off or warping of any kind. People complain you can't mute it but you can by pressing the round record button down till it mutes, but make sure you hold it down again when you leave that area or it will not go off when you want it to. I think them offering 2 devices in 1 is great, that's a win win for me. It also helps in the case that if you do get pulled it doesn't look like a radar detector just a camera because cops don't like it when people have a radar detector and in some states they are actually illegal to have. This has saved me 8 times including 3 accidents that I was able to prove no fault! The money and chaos it has saved me is AMAZING!

It records decent footage and alerts as well. I will say the radar is 50/50, with a lot of false alerts in the city and also around semi-trucks, but it does help. We have tons of vehicles on the roads today using Lidar and other radars for safety features like lane detection and pre-collision warning systems that may cause a false detection.

Radar detector detects something but I'm not sure what. Goes of in Russian randomly in spots in the middle of the country road with no cars around for miles. Other times I'll pass troopers on the highway that are hiding, most likely in a speed trap and its a 50/50 chance it may go off. Video quality is not great. It's nice it has a screen you can view but quality is not the best. Could tell if someone was in the wrong and caused an accident but you wouldn't be able to make out a person or license plate number if you needed to on the screen anyways. Maybe if you put the chip in something else? I haven't messed around enough to try that though.

Set it up to run in city mode next to my uniden radar, any time my uniden directed K band this one did not made a pep, any time my uniden was quiet KA band was going off like crazy on this 1, set it to the highway mode produce even worst results then I expected as soon as I entered highway it started beeping with no stop while my uniden did not made a pep true out entire stretch, because the stretch of the road I travel true never have any speed traps on it due to lack of places for COP’s to hide. All in all, as much as I wanted this thing to be accurate my hopes were shuddered. DON’N waist your money on this radar detector, look for something better.
