Phil & Teds Nest v2 Travel Cot (Silver)

This "nest" iss just perfect for our granddaughter! It makes it easy for her mom to carry her from room to room without waking her:)

Terrible product! I bought one 2 years ago and it was totally different. Old version: Easy to assemble with a wonderful carrying bag with extra space for baby supplies. Newer (this) version: Could not assemble it after 2 hours of trying. Design has been changed so that you have to "thread" the support rods from the outside to the inside and then through the mattress and then into slots below the mattress base. That's just nuts! And in order to change the sheets on the mattress, you would have to disassemble the whole nest. Which was impossible to assemble in the first place. Imagine trying to do this with a crying baby in the background! Cannot figure out why Phil and Teds changed the design of what used to be a perfect product. All the assembly videos available online are for the earlier product. Tried contacting Phil and Teds customer service to find out why they changed the design; there was no answer and no way to leave a message. What has happened to this good company and great product????

This is great. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the cost compared to the length of time it can be used. It was fairly difficult to get the rods in, but I believe that is for safety reasons. After the initial set up it is much easier to break it down and put it back together. I love this for moving the baby with me from room to room while she sleeps.

I should have listened to the review above, but I found great reviews of this product on other sites. I found it very difficult to set up and once it was set up, it seemed lopsided and the poles felt like they could just pop out of the mattress and hit the baby. The product information says it comes with two fitted sheets, mine only came with one. If the sheet gets dirty, the whole thing has to come apart to get the sheet off and then you would have to put this impossible thing together again. I also was interested in the carrycot stand because I don't like the idea of leaving it on the floor and I read somewhere that it shouldn't be placed in the bed. The carrycot stand doesn't fold down, so impossible to travel with. I am sending it back.
