Good glasses for the price but ain't no Oakleys - here is how to pick the color......
I had a pair of the blue reflective that had some small scratches develop so bought the blue and gold set. A good value, IMHO. There are a few things to know:1) They are not damage proof, no sunglasses are but are quite solid. The problem with ANY wrap around glasses is that if you drop them, they will usually hit the ground lens down so are a bit more likely to scratch than non-warp-arounds. Just the name of the game with wrap-arounds.2) The optics are decent but by close comparison to high quality lenses would you notice the difference. They are only about 60% as good as my similar Oakley's. The Oakley's are not only clearer but most of them also pass ANSI safetytests.3) Choosing between the blue reflective and gold (yellow) is based on what you want things to look like. Blue and yellow are opposites so with the blue reflective it will block (reflect) blue and transmit yellow and with the yellow reflective it will block (reflect) yellow and transmit blue. So the image from the blue ones will appear more yellow and green where the image from the yellow ones will appear more blue. The downside to the latter is that since atmospheric haze is blue, this shows more with the yellow glasses where the blue glasses tend to cut thru the haze better.CONCLUSION: Decent glasses for the price and look nice but are not going to have the same safety or clarity as high end glasses such as Oakelys. Although I still use these for casual things, I now tend to use my Oakleys (Radar Path EV)for anything like driving or safety related tasks. Although Oakleys retail for about 6X as much, you can find them on sale for maybe 3X as much.

As good or better than the 'Big Brand'.
Having owned several of the "Big Brand" sunglasses these are made to look like and compete with, my wife and I have found these to be excellent replacements at an exceptional price. Very nice!
