Great for young and older dogs, build their prey drive with this bite tug toy. Tug Toys are meant for interactive tugging between you and your dog only. We strongly recommend that you do not allow your dog to keep the toy after interaction has finished.

Great tug!
My German Shepherd absolutely loves it. Just a bit of advice - this an interactive toy for you AND your dog to play tug-of-war TOGETHER. It is not a chew toy! If you want your dog to chew on something, get him a Kong. If you leave your dog alone with this thing and he rips it up, don't blame the manufacturer. If you want it to last, you're gonna have to take it away from your pooch when you're done playing with him/her.

Great first tug for a Maligator
Giving it 5 Stars even though after only 6 months it ripped in half. It stood up to many full sprint, leaping bites. Bought this for my Malinois and we used it 2-4 times a week for play. He is starting to bite hard and tug harder so I'm going to research and see if there is anything else better, but not worried about stronger. Will buy again unless some of my new PSA friends recommend going another direction.

Sturdy Tug
This is a sturdy INTERACTIVE tug toy that you and your dog play with together. My rescue Lab/Dane mix was egging me on to play tug with whatever she could find and after watching a youtube video on how to play tug with your dog (especially one that doesn't want to let go - ever!) I learned how to let her win and how to get her to release when the game is over. This also helped train her to GIVE when I want her to release a ball, etc. It also helps to wear out some of that energy (she's about 2yrs). Like other reviews said, don't leave this tug toy for your dog to play with on his own - it will get destroyed. The handles are for you, the middle cloth part is for your dogs mouth.

Good for training. Handles can’t tolerate chewing.
It’s a great tug toy, but my chew addict already ate the straps on it! She has yet to manage to break the center! It is durable, if the dogs only bite the intended section. I didn’t intend to let it fall into her reach unattended! Put it up when you’re done if you have a chewer!

Really solid product
This tug is just what I needed for my 100+ pound "puppy". The picture is actually a bit misleading, as the jute portion is larger in proportion to the handles. This is a good thing, as it gives my dog more "purchase" area to shoot for and the handles are plenty large for my hands.I plan to keep this as a "special" toy only for when we play the game, so I expect it to last a very long time. There are certainly no signs of wear yet, and it's taking a real beating!Packaging was right on track for such a non-fragile item, and it arrived on time. Now, if the vendor would just offer a version of this that was flat fire-hose material in the middle, I could have one to fold up and stick in my pocket. This one is definitely too bulky for that.

Rated 5 stars, but still not sure.
My puppy has already put some tears into this. I don't let him chew on it. I only use it about 20 minutes a day. Perhaps its just because he still has his razor sharp puppy teeth. It does feel sturdy. The handles have not broke, but he is only 40lbs right now. Hoping it holds up.

Nice Quality
My aussie loves to tug and is very rough on toys. I had been searching for a tug toy that would hold up, and this one works well!! I would NOT leave it alone with a dog, because anything can be shredded, but for a 60lb dog to throw his weight into it it works well! I’ve been using it for a few weeks and there aren’t any teeth puncture holes or rips yet!

DO NOT BUY
I'm very dissatisfied with this, it came this morning, my Goldendoodle mix and I played tug once and it's torn. If I wanted a tug toy to last just an hour I would have gone to the Dollar tree.
