I decided to buy this skirt because of the amazing price compared to Los Angeles Apparel or resale prices, so here’s my review! - These are not the same construction or quality of the original AA skirts you might know and love, but they’re still very good! The material is a bit stiffer and slightly less soft than original AA skirts and they are a little bit longer but I find that to be nice :) I got the navy blue skirt and it’s lovely. It looks like it will hold up well to machine washing, I washed mine and it didn’t shrink at all. The size chart is accurate, so the waist band will be exactly the size it says on the size chart! Overall, I think original AA skirts are higher quality but this skirt is a nice quality for the price you pay.

This skirt fit perfectly and is so flattering. It‘s nice, thick fabric and you can tell that it’s been very well made. It holds in your tummy, but is comfy. It can be dressed up, or down. I wore it with heels here, but I’ve also paired it with sneakers and a loose fitting t.

Initially, I bought the blue skirt in a size medium and the waist was humongous, which contradicted the reviews, which indicated it runs small. I have a 26.5 in waist, 40 in hips, I'm 5'2, and not sure of my weight but it's likely around 120lbs. The blue skirt was falling down, so I decided to go with the green skirt in a small. Holy moly it was a battle to squeeze past my hips, but once I made it, the waist fit fine. A tad tight but not uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it was too short for my liking. My whole bum was nearly out. So if you have a donk, just beware.TL;DR: sizing is inconsistent between colors and if you have a large bum, beware.

I think this is my 4th purchase of these skirts and definitely my favorite color currently for Summer. I got my first one in navy, and ever since, I’ve also gotten it in red, black, and now khaki. These skirts goes with almost everything. They make your waist look flattering and keep their shape so well through many washes. The fabric is thick enough to never show anything. The length may seem short but it’s enough coverage so that you would never flash any one.The colors are just so timeless that I’ve been wearing them for years now and they are neither out of style or out of rotation.There is a slight sizing difference however. This khaki version is slightly looser around the waist than my first navy version from years back. Maybe around 1-2 inches difference.

Looks and fits beautiful. Quality is great in the one I received, I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about. Pleating is consistent, lays well, and length is not too short but still above the knee for me. No stretch around the waist but true to size.

Inconsistent sizing and craftsmanship among all colors of this brand’s tennis skirts. I ordered a small and the waist is fine, but the length almost hits right above the knee. I have 4 in different colors and they all feel like they were made differently. All the tags make the same claim of Made in China and a composition of “100% polyacrylic”, but some colors feel flimsier/sturdier than others. Specifically with the ”toffee” color I just received, the material doesn’t feel to have as much weight as some of the other colors, which presents a risk of flashing on a windy day. Also, some of the pleats lay flat while others don’t — giving a wonky illusion of bigger hips. Returning!

Love the Amerocan Apparel tennis skirt, the material doesnt feel cheap or wrinkly and pleats hold up well after i purchased it for a few months now. Just be careful how you store it and treat it well. I got the XXS which fits my waist nicely although after a while it can feel constricting

I have this skirt in another color and the medium fits me perfectly so I ordered another medium in pink. The pink is too small. It's a little shorter (I'm 5'2 and it brushes just below my butt) and tighter in the waist area. Other than the sizing issue, the skirt looks great and has a really nice material. I wish I could wear mine. I'd order a size up
