Its easy to install
These items are primary used on PVC water and sewer lines. However, they can be used on metal water lines. Life span may be 10 or twenty years --since they are fabricated from SS and a good quality of rubber/plastic seals. An easy method of making a joint between "rigid" pipes! (Example--a sewer line buried 43 inches deep)

Missing Rubber Inserts on Two Orders
Missing rubber inserts for both the original and the replacement orders. Need better quality control. What a waste of time.

There is no quality control at this company. They sent several couplings with no rubber and when I returned them for a replacement they sent new ones without rubber.

stainless metal protective wrap!
This was used to connect a mesh screen https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BW2VWG0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to the terminus of a 3” PVC drain pipe the takes runoff into the desert. Was easy to install and offers protection of the rubber gasket from critters who may find it tasty.

Not really for dissimilar pipe sizes.
Used this between coper and PVC. It clamped down but the collar was all wrinkled up because of the different diameters of the pipe. Replaced it with another product that was compatible.
