Bauerfeind - GenuTrain - Knee Brace - Targeted Support for Pain Relief and Stabilization of The Knee, Provides Relief of Weak, Swollen, and Injured Knees- Size 4 - Color Black

Quality: Extremely high. The way the fabric is layered and woven is very durable. The plastic side stabilizers are firm enough to provide support yet flexible. Comfort: I have a small tear in the inner corner of my left medial meniscus. I find the size 2 provides great comfort and pain relief for my situation. I can wear it all day without any discomfort; in fact I often forget I have it on. Fit: I have larger thighs and narrower calf’s, so wanted something that would hold onto my calf. The Size 2 gives me that. Ease of use: Well, couldn’t be much easier; I sit on a bench and put my leg at about a 30 degree angle from the knee (very slight bend), and then slide it up until the center is over my patella. That’s it. Adjustability: Not really anything to adjust. Mobility: This product gives me full mobility, and has allowed me to resume normal activities while my meniscus heals.

I needed something to stabilize my knee after an old ACL surgery started to flare up. I bought a few different stabilizing sleeves and this one is by far the most comfortable, breathable, and provides the most pain relief. The sizing is more nuanced, so you gotta get it right, but once you do it stays in place without the need of tight bands or skin irritating silicon like the others. I initially ordered three different sizes before landing on size 4. The knee donut has nubs that do something beneficial and I can tell a difference. My second pic shows the Bauerfeind GenuTrain next to the NEENCA which doesn’t have the nubs and uses silicon banding to hold it up. It’s more expensive but I can wear it all day, so for me it’s worth it. It takes awhile to air dry fully, though, so not great for working out. I got the sports version from Bauerfeind and while not as comfortable, dries much quicker.

This has been an amazing support for allowing me to stay fairly active this summer while I was for surgery on a pretty bad meniscus tear. The quality is superb. The knitted construction is really soft, but stays really snug and hasn’t stretched out (and I’ve been wearing it almost every day for two months). The compression feels great, and it’s honestly easy to forget I have it on. I ran a 12k with it and didn’t have to adjust it once. Yes, it has a significantly higher price tag. But I’d also argue it’s 10x better than all the other braces I’d tried in the past. Forget those with Velcro or other tightening systems - just get one of these.

I’ve been using the Bauerfeind GenuTrain knee brace for a few months now, and overall, I’m very impressed. The build quality is top-notch—it feels durable, well-constructed, and far superior to cheaper braces I’ve tried. The fabric is breathable yet supportive, and the compression it provides has really helped with my knee stability during workouts and long walks. Considering the premium materials and medical-grade support, I actually think the price is fair. It’s an investment, but one that pays off in comfort and function, especially if you’re dealing with chronic knee issues or recovering from an injury. That said, the only drawback I’ve experienced is that it does slip down occasionally, especially during more active movement. For a brace in this price range, I would love to see Bauerfeind come up with a better anti-slip solution—maybe silicone grips or adjustable straps. Still, despite that one issue, I’d absolutely recommend it. It’s one of the best braces I’ve used, and I feel much more confident and supported when I have it on. With a small design tweak, it would be perfect.

These knee sleeves are a must-buy. On an injured knee, they enabled me to complete a 3-day, 45 mile hike in the alps, covering over 11,000 feet of elevation gain and loss. Each step was supported, and recovery was amplified while resting. Had I not purchased them, I might still be stuck in the alps. I would recommend them to anyone.

Seems durable and provides good support. The only issue I had is with the sizing. I measured my thigh and calf following the instructions. I was really close between 2 sizes (3 and 3c) and ordered the smaller one not wanting it to be loose and then slip down. Turned out, it was too tight, so I returned that one and ordered the 3c. It's still quite snug leaving marks on my leg from the material when wearing it. I'm going to keep it hoping it will stretch a bit, and for now, I will only wear it for limited periods at a time. For the cost, I wish the sizing was better.

I'm a lifelong athlete turned longtime rock climber and surfer. My knees have been heavily abused for decades; I'm hoping no end is in sight. Stairs, long car rides to climbs, and steep and/or loose downhills afterwards have become embarassingly painful. I was VERY skeptical of a $75 knee brace and was prepared to return immediately.. On the contrary, I'm here typing a review in the first 2 hours. Wow - this brace knocked at least 5 years of wear off my knee in the first 10 minutes alone. It's stable, comfortable and thick enough to feel durable but without being too sweaty. You can tell it's there for sure, but it's not "in the way" or movement restrictive. Importantly, it's tight enough that it does not slip down at all, yet I don't feel like my circulation is getting cut off. As other reviewers have noted, if you're in between sizes, go with the smaller one. A++ holy crap great product.

J'ai déjà plusieurs autres genouillère (depuis la laine pour réchauffer en confort jusqu'à celles très renforcées pour musculation renforcée. Celles-ci procurent un très bon maintien pour activité sportive courante. Accessoirement, elles sont trop épaisses au niveau du genou pour être portées sous un jean. I feel it’s overrated, decent support but nowhere near the hype or description.
