DenmanD24 Detangling Rake Comb

Perfect!
Long ago I had a similar comb but somehow I lost it in my travels. However, this one is much much better! This one has some heft to it so the weight is very well distributed. It has no plastic seams to catch hair, and glides smoothly through my very long hair. I'm impressed!

sturdy comb and it doesn't have rough edges to snag ...
This is a solid, sturdy comb and it doesn't have rough edges to snag on the hair. I bought several detangling combs and this is by far the best and worth the money.

Great detangling comb!

NOT BAD...!!
Looks like a cheap plastic comb but functionally, it has been good .... I think it is more deserving to buy a Denman brush rather ...

Delivers what it promises
Bought to supplement a Mason Pearson detangling comb, which does not separate my strands as well as this comb when dry.Compared to Mason Pearson comb, this comb has a 'woven' tooth pattern, rather than a straight-tooth alignment. This tends to work better when my hair, 1 1/2 feet long, is dry, particularly at my ends. In this respect, it works wonderfully after some finger detangling. The comb is seamless, with no manufacturing defects or anything for your hair to catch on. The comb's handle spouts a groove, presumably to make various grip styles a bit easier. It is, however, a black plastic comb. The aforementioned MP comb is a luxury product. It feels like a piece of amber in your hands, has a greater weight, looks nicer, and is more pleasurable to run through your hair like a multi-finger massage. This comb, however, is all function, and it does exactly what it advertises, and at under $10 is a far better value than cheaply-made drugstore combs and the like.

Made in the UK
Quality comb made in the UK. I got it to replace a Goody comb of the same style I bought many years ago and thought I had lost, then found again. Comparing the two combs, the Denman comb has a stiffer plastic, and the the overall tooth shape is more straight while the Goody has more of an arch. What I like least about the Denman is the ends of the teeth are a bit rough (where the two halves of the mold meet), while the Goody comb teeth ends are perfectly smooth. If I had to buy again I would probably go with Goody for that reason, also I prefer the softer plastic which has a little more give. But since I bought my Goody comb so very long ago (10+ years) I cannot comment on the quality of current Goody combs.

Do NOT Recommend (Not as described, and damaging to hair)
The teeth on this comb are not smooth, as advertised in the item description. The seams are prominent and a lot of the plastic on the teeth is jagged, rough and bound to cause damage to delicate hair (see attached photos). Since I would have paid more to return the comb than what I spent to purchase it in the first place, it will go into the rubbish bin. Money lost; lesson learned; buyer beware. I rarely leave a one-star review on Amazon, but this product was not worth it.

Works well on long thick hair
As with all Denman hair products, this works very well.I bought it specifically for using on my daughters long thick hair and it goes through very easy and my daughter doesn't complain anymore.

Would not recommend.
I would not recommend this comb. It has edges where the comb has been joined and these can catch on the hair, and the feeling is horrible when you slide it thorough your hair.

Solid comb
This is well made and has a solid feel to it, it was so good I’ve ordered another to keep in our caravan so it’s never forgotten

Disappointed
Thought this comb would be as good as one I have had for years sadly not. These combs are designed to detangle long hair which it does but I find it a bit scratchy/sharp.
