I had been using my portable vac for over a year without the pre-filter. I only had the cloth filter which had become filthy. I spent too much time picking debris from the cloth, and the filter was in a bad state of deterioration. After installing this new filter with the plastic pre-filter covering, the suction factor increased immensely. I’m totally sold on this product. Highly recommended‼️

I have two fairly new B & D Dust Busters: CHV1210 and HHV1315JO42. My complaint is that they don't come with a plastic pre-filter like my old and defunct CHV1400 Type 1. The pre-filter helps to protect the cloth filter, and makes it easier to wash or clean the cloth filter, since only fine dust and dirt can get through. So, I took a chance on this #90558115 filter, since the plastic part looked like it was the same size as my newer Dust Busters. It fits perfectly, and the plastic pre-filter is detachable, so that you can wash out the cloth filter. This filter will fit a multitude of Dust Busters, because so many of them use the same cloth filter, although that information is not available. And, of course, you can still buy the replacement VF110 cloth filters if you want to, if you don't want to mess with washing out the cloth filters, or they are beyond washing. Just simply attach the pre-filter to plastic body of the new VF110 cloth filter. Very highly recommend.

Replaces out cloth filter only unit with this that has the pre-filter cone. 2 in the pack so use one, wash one - always ready to clean.

The plastic is flimsier than the original than that of the original that came with the dustbuster.It bends and warps a bit as its getting snapped into place.

I purchased these after the one in our "BLACK + DECKER CHV1410L 16V Cordless Lithium Hand Vac" at the vacation rental property went missing. It's easy to dump into the trash if you haven't used it before and don't know to look for it.The paper filters in these hand held vacuums gets very dirty and hard to clean the dust off of after about a year of use- I had no idea how much suction we had lost until I replaced them with these..holy cow it's like a new vacuum!The price for two new units that includes the plastic and paper filter is amazing!! Have always been happy with these filters. They last a long time if they’re washed and air dried periodically- this keeps suction power. The 2 pack price was too good to pass up.
