These are really nice! They feel solid in u'r hand... they're pretty well made with wooden handle's.They can be used 4 many different purposes as I've already used them as a pizza slide or 2 check under the pizza 4 crispness & of course used 4 spreading cinnamon/butter mixture over sticky rolls. Its a great value 4 the price since this package came with 4 sizes - each made w/the same quality construction. Definitely recommend... (angled spreading knife) a must have 4 any good cooks kitchen : )

Very nice blades, but the handles arent even 1/2" thick.

I think that these spatulas are very nice for the price especially considering the number you receive and with all the different sizes. The spatulas have a stiffness that is just right for a soft to medium thick icing. If you plan to work with a stiffer icing or a tough medium they may not be quite stiff enough to help spread evenly without bending a little in the process as with many spatulas. I haven't used them enough to guage how well the handle will hold up to washing but as far as I can tell it probably won't hold together for too long if left soaking or treated without care. I suspect the finish will come off easily, but the actual handle will not loosen or come apart, so that's a plus. The only true issue I have with these so far is that the blades aren't completely straight. The edges are straight yes but the angle of the spatula is wider at the base and continues to a less wide tip. For me when I'm icing I rely on knowing that I'm making a perfectly straight line when holding my spatula, the blade a completely straight extension of my hand, but these require me to adjust my position because the blade does not continue straight from my hand, it has an angle, and that is something that I'm having issues mastering. If that is something that you have issues with just keep that in mind. Best of luck!

Great set of icing spatulas, all the sizes I will ever need for frosting different size cakes as well as cupcakes. They're lightweight but sturdy and well made. The wooden handles are comfortable. Love that the bonus cake stripping tool is included, which helps a lot in getting the cakes out of the pans. Very happy with this set!

Most sets I saw didn't come with the cake smoothers so along with the sturdy wooden handles, this purchase was a no-brainer for me. The degree of offset on the spatulas are very small so if your going to ice/frost a cake in a deep pan, then this set may not be the best, but if using them as intended (on a cake turntable or out of the pan), then it'll work just fine.

I thought I only needed the large and the small one, but I've been using all of them. The only issue is that the dark wood finish on the handles begins to wear off IMMEDIATELY showing light colored wood beneath - even if you take care of them and don't soak them in water. It doesn't affect how well they work, but they look a little shabby because of it. . I would have given them five stars except for that.

A great deal with all these items included on one purchase. I thought the spatulas would be paper thin but they’re sturdy and effective. I nearly bought one spatula for $6.99 but saw this bundle for $10.99. I’m satisfied with this buy.

I realize you get what you pay for. And I this set is cheap. The actual spatulas are fairly sturdy although the largest one came warped. I really don't think I would ever use that size to frost a cake or anything else in the kitchen so I will probably throw it in with my pallet knives for painting.My biggest issue with these are the handles. As others have mentioned in their reviews the finish just isn't great. Instead of smoothing the handles out they threw a ton of stain and sealant on them to try and cover up the roughness. Rather than send them back I plan to sand them smooth hopefully removing the finish they put on completely and then either oil or seal them with a food safe sealant.

Sorry for all the pictures, but I wanted to show not only is each pallet knife a different width, but they're even tapered at the ENDS. All the other ones I looked at were just the same pallet size, just shorter as they graduated down. It came with the cake decorators for edging (bonus).Truly impressed overall.Cons:1. I would've preferred plastic handles. I wonder how long they'll last even though they're riveted.2. There is a small gap in the handle where the tang goes (see pic of them laying sideways) - which I think may collect gunk over time - I'll just have to be vigilant about washing thoroughly after use. The other concern is, even if I wash carefully, if the moisture will swell the wood that'll break down over time.If these had enclosed plastic handles they would be 5 star PLUS. However, considering the amazing price, the value is incredible.I'd definitely recommend these if you're on a budget and an avid baker - only if you're fastidious about cleaning & drying thoroughly after

They work fine but the handles are quite rough. Not smooth like utensil handles usually are. Almost like unfinished wood.

Great quality, easy to use offset spatulas. The different sizes make it easy to smooth frostings and batters in different size baking projects. Would definitely recommend.
