Oven wasn't heating up. Took the panels off inside and checked the heating element. Although no obvious sign of damage I took a punt and bought this. Fitted it in less than 5 minutes and it's been working fine for months. I have a belling oven, can't remember the model number but took a pic of design which may help others.

Can confirm this is a straight swap for (assumed) Belling element marked B17171. This oven came with our house so we did not know or find the model number or documents.Easy install but we double teamed for ease. Be careful with wires as the they will want to spring back and could get lost behind the entire unit which you would then have to remove to complete reinstall.Switched on now and all working. Fingers crossed long service, regardless very happy with price and delivery from Amazon next day. 10/10.Please if you aren’t confident with turning everything off properly get someone to do this for you! When our original / inherited element blew our RCD protected circuit switched off our entire downstairs. My electrician friend then advised likely something in the kitchen and we later realised our dinner wasn’t cooking….Stay safe, stay alive, respect the mains!

So, my Belling oven (model 444449574) suddenly stopped heating up. Rather than paying someone £50 call out fee just to look at it, I took a punt that it was the heating element.The other parts of the oven were still working OK.Managed to locate the oven model on the frame with the door open.The actual official serial number of the part is 3061794OHOrdered this and it arrived the next day on Prime. Took longer to remove the screws from the fan cover, needed a squirt of WD40, than it did to actually replace the part.Easily swapped over, and works perfectly. Saved myself a whole lot of ££££'sLots of videos showing how to swap out the old for the new, don't even need to drag the oven out, it can all be done from the front.Perfect replacement, very happy!
