Love this Children's Audio Bible! I purchased a 2nd Bible, because I gave my other one away. My grandkids love to listen to it in the car and sing along with the songs! I love it also, as it calms them down, and they pay attention to every word. They are mesmerized as they hear the word of God come alive, and they like to hear "Jesus" when he speaks. I also use it in my Sunday School class, as I teach the 4th-6th grade kids. It's a great tool to use as you let the children hear the verses in your lesson, instead of reading them, and also they get to hear a song that corresponds closely with the lesson. Great product that I recommend to parents or grandparents or SS teachers or anyone who ministers to children.

This isn't the version of the bible that I normally read or that my children normally read. However, this is put together in such a way that I even like listening to it. They weave the bible songs everyone grew up singing into the scripture as the song applies to it. Doing this helps break up the story and keeps my kids from getting bored. They have really done their best to make some off the passages that I wouldn't normally read aloud to children kid friendly without changing the meaning of the passage. My six year old has been listening off and on since Thanksgiving and is in the 10th disc and still enjoys it! I plan on listening to it each year until he is more comfortable reading. This is a good investment for the whole family. My two year old even listens and sings along with the songs. We enjoy ours so much that we gave them as Christmas presents to other kids in our family! I hope they come out with the Old Testament, too.

I ordered this for my grandson who is 5 years old. Since he's not old enough to read yet, I thought this would introduce him to the Bible in a way that he would enjoy it. My daughter says he loves it, and wants to hear it each time they get in the car. He especially loves the songs, and sings along with those he knows. There's no other Bible on the market like it that I have seen or heard about. My daughter especially likes that he is interested in hearing it and it seems to have a calming effect on him while they are traveling. I recommend it to anyone with young children!!

This is a very nice CD set with the Bible and songs, but it is developing skips in the recording. I have tried to clean the disks but it does not help. I have been careful to see if they are scratched, but I do not see damage on the CDs.

I purchased this for my daughter for her birthday and she was so excited to listen to it. Unfortunately it was a Huge let down. It says dramatized but it was so dull, the woman reading sounded robotic and anytime we would actually hear another voice for "dramatization" the audio was not smooth and sounded recorded. The "actors" whenever we would actually hear them were equally AWEFUL and dull with no expression, it's like they were reading something for the first time on top of the fact that it was bad audio. Whenever we would hear children songs in between readings they were so old and boring sounding and honestly weird/creepy with an adult trying to sound like a kid. The music is dated and not appealing. I'm so disappointed especially because my daughter loves being told stories in the car and learning the bible. Worst birthday gift. I give it 2 stars because it is still the bible.

Good for younger children. My 12 year old and 9 year old think the songs are babyish. The scripture is great though and the narrator is good.

Got it for my sons birthday which is Aug 13th. Ordered a month early. Just now finding out the cds skip Alot and there are 4 missing, now its to late for return which was Aug 16th.

This book is awesome my kids love it. It came with all disc in a case which was perfect.
