Disney Princess Snow White: Mirror, Mirror (Twisted Tales 384 Disney)

I don’t know how good this book is but my granddaughter requested it.

I've read the Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty Twisted tales as I'm a huge Disney addict and although they were entertaining and interesting to see a different version of each tale, I never loved them but I really enjoyed this one, it's the most entertaining and well written of any of them. Definitely worth while for a Disney fan, not sure anyone else would get much out of it or any books from the series.

Twisted Tales is a collection of Disney fairy tales retold, always with an unexpected twist.In Mirror, Mirror, Snow White doesn’t get poisoned by the Evil Queen’s apple. Instead, after surviving the murder attempt, she’s ready to fight. Snow White enlists the help of the seven dwarves to go around the kingdom rallying for support. She’s suffered quietly while her aunt, the Evil Queen, destroyed the kingdom her parents built. But she won’t let it happen any longer. She’s ready to take back control of the kingdom and help her people live the lives they deserve.I expected a little more from the book. I wanted the characters to be explored more in depth, specially the Evil Queen. But it’s still a lovely read for fans of Snow White.

I have read a few of the twisted tales book now and it’s so good to see the stories take on a different scenario. With this one it is the prince who is poisoned and snow who has to save him. Showing woman as strong and fearless
