Good tips
I would have given it a five, but it’s too short. I was beginning to sit up better almost immediately and that’s a good thing.

Informative and instructional book about posture
The author has done a superb job in writing a book on the best way to protect your back in all functional activities. I really like the sections on baby care and childcare and I will buy a copy for my daughter-in-law who is expecting our first grandchild! Living in California I do not relate to shoveling and throwing snow.. happily. I find the stretches and balance exercises to be great. I really like the drawings in this book and they just "pop" on the pages! This book is for everyone!Grace Walker Gray, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Doctor of Occupational Therapy and Holistic Health Care Practitioner

I found this book really helpful and loved the drawings. I'm practicing the balance exercises every day.

Never too late to fix broken, but it is hard to change habits.
I thought it was very good and made a lot of sense.I am going to use the information for my painful back.

Standard stretching exercises
Much to do about nothing—very weak on specifics. In fact if you really have back problems you could not do some of these exercises

Brilliant
Fantastic book! Realised where my arm pain is coming from for a start! Very easy to read. Only took a day or two to read as there are a lot of diagrams throughout. Quick to the point. Excellent.

Great reference book!
Great reference book! If you spend some time practicing and getting comfortable with the various ‘postures’ (standing, sitting, lunging, breathing, etc.), then it is fairly easy to adapt them when doing a variety of day-to-day activities, such as getting up from a chair, lifting objects, vacuuming and so on. As the book recommends, I would suggest having someone take a picture/video of you doing such things as standing and sitting at your desk, so that you can truly see what your posture looks like and what changes need to be made (it’s hard to determine this when you have to keep turning your head to look in the mirror).I was surprised at how often I found myself with my shoulders high and my chin jutting out but, now that I’m more conscious of what my proper posture should be, I am better able to make corrections and am hopeful that I will be able to alleviate my neck pain.I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

Great resource of information!
Rosalind does an excellent job of simplifying complex concepts so that the average person can improve their posture and relieve pain. You will use this book for years to come.

Nothing Special
It's okay, but really it just comprises of basic stretching exercises plus advice about good posture and lifting. Maybe that's all there is as regards back problems?

Lifestyle changes
Being born with a disability and slightly short on one side, over the years I have tried to compensate the imbalance by doing these sort of mental and physical exercises! And what a difference they make when doing day to day tasks! Sound advice, recommends to all. Mrs T.
