Perfect for grocery shopping!!! I can just throw them in the washing machine if anything leaks. I like the ones at the stores but they are made of recycled plastic and a lot less durable. I am still not sure of why even bother then because after 6 months of groceries the handles are coming off or sides are ripping at the seams. Canvas is really the only way to go and they hold a lot!!

I was expecting the heavy duty canvas bags. But these are not it. They might even look cheap on arrival but they are pretty durable and can hold 50lbs. I have been on several grocery trips bags stuffed with varying weights and dimensions of items. You can fit a good amount of groceries per bag. I recently bought 2x 25lb dumbbells and didn't feel like carrying them individually. I put them in a bag slung them over my shoulder and carried them to my apartment. From parking to in the building to my apartment is about 40 yards. Didn't see any failures in the bags material or stitching. So I can say you can at least carry 50lbs in a bag for 40 yards.

This is my third time purchasing these bags because every time a use them around a family member or friend some how the bag disappears. I have learned to empty the bag and hide it after use around my friends and family. Lol
