In water all day with dry feet
I was hesitant to say the least. Played a disc golf tournament and we've got probably 8 inches of rain this month. There were 10-12 holes where you're walking through 2-3 inches of water for up to 75 yards and feet stayed dry. Not to mention it was 40 degrees and feet didnt get cold either. Might be a little warm during summer idk but I'll sure find out

Decent
I paired these socks with quick-dry shoes for a waterfall hike and was pleasantly surprised with the results. At a few creek crossings, my feet were totally submerged in water, and the shoes did nothing to prevent water from entering but allowed them to quickly dry so water wouldn't be trapped inside. I could feel my feet were ever so slightly damp, but after walking on dry land for 30 minutes, they had dried off. By the end of the hike I was going to change shoes, but the exterior of the socks were definitely still very wet, but my feet were dry by then (though cold). One thing I hadn't considered is the thickness of the socks because of the material. There is some bulk to consider when pairing them with your shoes if your shoes are already snug. Also, the price is high but found it to be worth it.

So far so good
I have pretty much fallen out of the waterproof hiking shoes mindset, but there are times when I would like to avoid wet feet. In walks the idea of waterproof socks. I watched a few videos but was not sold on it. It seems unbelievable that these socks could be waterproof and breathable without being bulky and cumbersome. Curiosity got the better of me, and I ended up with a pair of these Randy Sun socks. Pulling them out of the wrapper I had instant buyer's remorse. Trying them on, however, my intrigue grew. They kind of suck onto your feet as if they've bonded to your flesh, and it is neat. I wore these on a humid, 75°F, moderate mountain ridge hike under my La Sportiva TX3s, and I might never wear regular socks hiking again. I was totally impressed after 14 miles. They were just so comfortable. I did splash in a few puddles, and my feet stayed dry, but the selling point for me was the padded feeling that I experienced on that harsh, rocky terrain. It's too soon to comment on durability, but I'm eager to continue testing.

Great socks for wet hiking
Great pair of normal looking socks lined with thin neoprene layer. The sock is waterproof, but water can get in the same hole your foot enters when you put them on. Like a wet suit, any water that does get in will be trapped and warmed by your body so your feet don't get cold. I just used them, cold day and very cold water. My feet stayed very dry overall, but when I waded into the lake too deep I could feel some minimal water getting in from the top. Hours later after multiple forays into shallow water, my feet were not 100% dry, but there were still warm and felt great. Beware, one of the questions answered says you get '4 pairs'. My wife and I ordered two (thinking 4 pairs each) and we got only 1 pair each. We are very disappointed!

Works as avertised
Tried them out on Easter Sunday. We got about a foot of snow in WNY, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. I did a five mile run, and my feet stayed dry. There were a few times I ran through some water, and I thought water had soaked through, but it was just the temperature change. I did use the washer to clean them, but hung them up to dry.

Great Socks, worked just as expected
These socks are absolutely fantastic! I wore these for my first half marathon as it was raining and I was 100% more comfortable than my buddies. I will say they aren't 100% waterproof, but these are socks they can't be 100% waterproof. My feet were definitely moist but this was after four hours of full rain and puddles and could've been so much worse. I would highly recommend these socks. Very comfortable.

Not waterproof past ankles
These did not keep my feet dry. They may have if I wasn't in deeper water but as it was they didn't work for me. Worse yet, I bought them for kayaking and discovered they are super slippery and I had to take them off to get out of my kayak as my feet kept slipping. They may be wonderful for other applications but for me and paddling it didn't work out.

Thick, warm, and effective
I honestly loved these socks. we took them to Zion national park and the water levels were really high at the time. There was no avoiding the water its impossible no matter how many water resistant items you have. The water was really cold in the morning and I had some walking sticks with me to help me tread through the water. As soon as I stepped in my feet were soaked and so were my boots. The thing with these socks is that they kept the water out but you could still feel them swish around in your shoes. By mid afternoon on the hike it was starting to get really cold in the water but luckily these socks kept me warm the whole way. They are really comfortable on your feet and do keep them warm but you will get wet no matter how much you try to avoid this.

Great for 1st 10 minutes
Great until they started to leak 10 minutes into hiking through snow and streams in Banff. But at least they had enough insulation to keep my feet from freezing in my trail runners. Great idea.I tried them in the bath at home after to make sure it wasn’t water running over the top. Nope.

Great quality and fit!
It is 100% waterproof and breathable as claimed. Wore it at the pool area while my son was swimming and water didn’t get in nor did my feet get sweaty. Love them!

It works in cold environment especially rubber boot To prevent from sweating. Damp socks.. I use it as slippers to keep socks dry. Certainly keep feet warm. Wish I had bought one size bigger.
