Perfine Galaxy S5 Battery 3500mAh Li-Polymer Battery EB-BG900BBC Replacement for Samsung i9600 SM-G900F / G900H / G900A / G900V

Bought in June 2020. This was good at first, I was getting a day or 2 out of it. Now (Feb 2021) the battery only powers phone for a few hours. The battery has swelled up so much, the back of the phone will not stay on.I contacted the seller through amazon (I just realized there was a warranty), they asked for my name and address (amazon does not supply this info to them) - I did and a few days later I got a replacement battery - No hassle.My USB cord was getting warm near the connection - I found the cord was not good (shorting at times). I now give the battery 5 stars, as the battery was good at first, till it started swelling, and it might have been my cord.

While as a smartphone S5 is rather limited in terms of hardware specs in 2021, its high resolution OLED screen still makes it an excellent ebook reader and a long lasting battery only makes the reading experience all the more distraction-free. Having used the battery for a week, I can attest that this extended battery has achieved just that with prolonged hours of uninterrupted usage. On top of that, the possibility of using the original backplate with this battery means my S5 remains waterproof in its compact profile. Overall, for those who are budget-minded, this tiny investment for turning an aging phone into a very viable media consumption device is hard to resist.

I've had this battery for a couple of months and it is not a good one. While it might be better than a completely dead battery that lasts a few hours, it is not as good as previous generation aftermarket batteries.I get about 12 hours before it is completely dead, and this is with light duty use. Maybe two phone calls and checking email a few times and several messages. Previous generation of aftermarket batteries I could go reliably 36 hours before the battery was dead.This one is as good as the 3 year old battery it is replacing. I don't know why it is so hard for anyone to market a reliable battery under the same brand for more than a year or so, but it gets rather tiring.The NFC works, which is the only reason this gets 2 stars - otherwise one star.

My previous battery, 14 months old (https://smile.amazon.com/S5-SUNZOS-Upgraded-Capacity-Replacement/dp/B085H6Z8SG) was swelling up and not lasting very long so I replaced it with this one 2 weeks ago. So far the battery life is great and I have had no problems.Also regarding my previous battery that was swelling. I later found out that phone batteries that swell are actually quite dangerous as they may start a fire. So if yours is starting to swell up, replace it right away.

The previous battery that had came with my phone was not holding a charge for very long. I bought this battery to replace it and so far have not had any problems and have been very satisfied with it. Good value, holds a charge, and it works great.

Excellent replacement although it seemed a little thicker than the original - however, it provides more hours of operation than the original. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V phone running Android 6.0.1, and the NFC function on this battery did not work. Tested by performing the following twice: Put in old battery and verified NFC worked with my LG 3570 washer, then switched in Perfine battery and verified NFC did not work with the washer. Have sent email to Perfine to see if there is any thing I can do to get it to work or if Perfine battery is bad or if is just won't work in my phone.

We bought this because it was an Amazon Choice the end of September. By January the battery failed. It was also slightly too small for the S5. We paid $11, now it’s marked down to $8 so I guess it could be worse. I just wish Amazon Choice meant something in terms of quality…

Has great battery life for the price. First charge lasted 2 days .

It fit my Samsung S5 perfectly, a full charge lastest 2 days and the price was right.

Seems to have a good battery life for LI-Poly.Will review in 1 year, 2 years to see how it is versus Li-ion battery
