A little background information on my hair: I have very thick, wavy hair that goes down to my booty. Since it's very long and has been dyed multiple times.. it has been a struggle to maintain and manage because of how easily tangled it gets due to how damaged it is. My showers has always resulted in the nastiest tangles and I found myself finger combing my hair in the shower with conditioner for a good 20 minutes.. then another additional 20 minutes outside my shower with a brush that snagged and pulled my wet hair. Seriously.. ain't nobody's got time for that. I needed a solution and decided to get a wet brush because I saw it everywhere and decided to order one on Amazon. Honestly, I was skeptical.. but I was already spending so much money on expensive hair products so why not change up my brush? After showering, I decided to put the brush to the test. I used it without any leave in conditioner and only used it on my hair that has been washed with regular shampoo and conditioner. While brushing, I found that it doesn't pull my wet hair or snag my ends at all! It took me around 5 minutes to comb my whole head this time around. Skip the expensive conditioners, get this brush a cheap leave in conditioner suited for your hair type and you're golden.

I purchased this as a cheaper alternative to my Denman D83 and sadly it’s not the one. I know this is a ‘wet’ brush, but I wanted to use it to detangle dry/damp hair. I have very thick and curly hair, so I like that the bristles are longer and actually get to my scalp, but I wouldn’t describe it as ‘gentle’ detangling. It works great in the shower, but now I have 3 shower brushes that I don’t really need. It’s disappointing

Con: Needs detangler: To prevent breakage, I recommend using a detangler or hair oil/cream before brushing, especially with dry hair. Overall, this brush is a great option for those with thick hair who are looking for a more efficient and comfortable brushing experience. Just remember to prep your hair with a detangler to avoid breakage.

Love the colors. Brush’s faster than the wet hair brush’s normally brush. It’s is really good with Thick and wavy and curly hair. My only complaint is when the bristles fall out it is really hard to use but the bristles don’t fall out really fast. And olny if your like being really rough with it than it will last you a while.

Great and flexible. It markets itself for “thick hair” but that’s just a marketing ploy - as all wet brushes are for thick hair. Minus two stars for the expensive price as I’ve since found it being sold cheaper.
