Great Book
I think everyone should read this book. As someone who has had good paying jobs, I was surprised to learn I was an underearner. There are dozens of great gems in this book that everyone can learn from.

Huge Changes Are Possible
This is my second Barbara Stanny read. I guess you could say I am becoming a fan of her work. When I read the title, I asked myself if I too might be an underearner as my whole adult career has been spent in the public sector with its designated pay bands assigned to each employee classification. I suspected I was so I felt I could probably benefit from the author’s five step plan to a richer life. While the author writes primarily to benefit women, I suspected that anyone who read the book could benefit from it, so long as they took the actions suggested within it.Based on what she was learning from her research of six figure women, the author began leading Overcoming Underearning workshops. This book grew out of those initial workshops. As a result, this book is full of exercises, quizzes and opportunities for self-discovery and practice. If you do these, I believe this book can have a real impact on your life. This is an excellent, well written, engaging book. Because of the interactive nature of the book, I would recommend you buy the paper, as opposed to, the electronic version, so you can take full advantage of the interactivity offered.I particularly liked the author’s focus on the need to address the mindset or mental aspects associated with living a “richer” life. As the author noted, her own beliefs were holding her back.Read this book. Do the exercises. Don’t let your beliefs hold you back from living the good life.

Journey To Earning More Money
Yes, I said this before, but must say it again. Please know that I do not claim to have all the answers and do not dub myself a spiritual expert. I am only sharing books that I am looking into as part of my spiritual/personal expedition. I humbly confess that I did not want to publicly admit that I am working on my underearning because I am well aware that I am opening myself up even more to being publicly judged. However, my higher self/spirit/soul is gently nudging me to be more honest with myself and others.Additionally, I am thankful for my current overnight shift job and am well aware that I am lucky to be able to pay my rent and other basic needs (after this review, I hope to still have a job when I return to work tomorrow night). However, Overcoming Underearning by Barbara Stanny appealed to me because I have made good money before and am determined to at least get back to that level (at a minimum) within the next two to five years (at the latest). Additionally, my husband and I are working on not only paying back our student loans together, but also plan on paying back his mother and growing our savings. She is very patient, trusts us to eventually pay her back, and is supportive of our five year timeline to do so. She is the only family member on both sides of my husband’s and I families that we do owe money to and we both intend to keep it that way. However, I know that these things can only begin to happen once I address and do something (within the next six months) about the amount of money I earn. I also feel lucky to have received an e-mail about Barbara Stanny’s class from Daily Worth around the time I started seriously getting into this book. The following is some of the information Stanny touches on in her Overcoming Underearning book:Page 73: Creating A Money AutobiographyPage 77: Problem Indicator ChecklistPages 104-105: Decoding ResistancePage 168: Chapter Three on ensuring successPage 129: An Exercise on Inputting Community, pages 125-128 touch on building a community of support (which I reluctantly and humbly admit that I need to do so).

I wanted it to be longer
Great excercises! Very thoughtfully put together and guides the reader to self examine why they have been underearning. A worthwhile read and I wanted to read more of the workshop participants experience after the workshop.

Do every single exercise with all your attention and heart in this book!
This book was recommended by my spiritual mentor/life coach. She's recommended this book earlier on in our sessions (last year), but you know how everything works - the teacher shows up when we are ready. I was ready to take the SCARY GIANT LEAPS to make my relationship to money healthy. From doing every single exercises in this book (the photo shows how I organized each of them in my Notion notebook), I uncovered SO MUCH nasty stuff from my childhood which all attributed to my very unhealthy relationship with money. It was one of the most healing experience. Healing is self-love, and I urge every single person out there heal. I am 75% way through, and maybe one day I will be able to teach money in public schools and have my own money coaching program to educate the younger citizens of our country. Financial education is very much needed!First, I need to be coached to become an effective coach, lol! I'm not there yet. If it's meant to be, the Universe will show me the way.

Great book for getting to grips with your finances and limiting beliefs about money
Very detailed, short book on how to manage finances better, with work book style examples and exercises. Extremely useful to challenge limiting beliefs about money and get over them.

Good book
I liked a lot this book because it helped me to reflect on my relationship with money.I'd raccomand it to those who are looking for new, positive, solid thoughts about money, exactly how was i before to read this book.4 stars because, in my opinion, too many exemples which interrupted the flow very frequently, for my taste.

One of the Best Buys I've Ever Bought.
I am still going through the book but everytime I pick it up, even if just for 5 minutes of reading to digest what this wonderful, authentic writer is sharing with the world, my finances improve and I honestly think it's because what she provides is the clarity needed to transparently see what is truly keeping so many of us back. I Love this book. Love, Love, Love it. I will note that due to the title, I found myself lowering the book whenever someone walked past me at the bech but it feels so good to actually adress how underearning is a real issue and I can't wiat to buy her next book six figure women. I had no idea there where women out here who even cared enough to write a book which from the moment you pick it up improve ones finnacials situation.

If you are tired of being controlled by money, you should read this book.
If you are struggling with debt, working in a job you dislike or just do not seem to ever have enough money, then this book is for you.It clearly identifies the one change you must make in your mindset and why that benefits you and everyone else. The book clearly outlines the inner work required to address your beliefs that hold you back from a functional and loving relationship with money. You also get the simple actions to take in your life that wealthy people do and know that if you do these too, then you will become wealthy.Consider combining with 'disrupting sacred cows' for a complete transformation of your money thinking and skills.
