98 Ram 12V KDP fix
Once you get the timing cover off you’ll see the pin in the upper left. Remove the 10mm bolt next to the pin and clean the threaded hole (Brake clean and compressed air) then orient the tab so it covers the KDP, use the provided bolt (I applied blue Loctite) tighten to 18 foot pounds and done. While you’re in there with the timing cover off, there are three other bolts that you should tighten to 18 foot pounds.
