Nor more Idle surging on 3.0l V6 Honda
...hope it lasts. Reviews suggest it should.Earlier cheaper China part failed in 7 months.Job isnt huge but its a hassle this part should last years, not months.

OEM quality and operation
Replaced a defective IACV in my 02 Accord V6 "J-series" engine. Solved the "hunting" idle speed I was experiencing.

Good product
The first one i purchased did not work on my wife's Odyssey. I returned it and received a replacement, but by the time the replacement arrived, i had already purchased an OEM at the dealer. (my wife needed the van running for the Kids)So now i had a spare IAC valve. God does things for a reason, because lo and be hold my accord started to act upafter cleaning the throttle body. (hard start, low idle) The IAC valve started to fail, so i used the replacement i received and it is working fine on the accord v6. So far it's been 2 weeks and working with no problems. how long will it last? it depends on the quality of the part. time will tell.

Fixed the idle surging.
Based on internet searches a thorough cleaning of the throttle body of a 2003 Odyssey would fix the idle surging idle that started at 270k miles. Not really. Finally just bought this unit with next day delivery and it works great. The idle calibration procedure seems like nonsense since the ECU loses the set point every time the battery is disconnected and the van does not have problems finding the correct idle in a short time. It ran a little fast in the 1st 2 or 3 min but then settled down to about 800.

Will do in a pinch.... if your automobile will not run.
This product will " get you back on the road again". But do not expect your Honda will idle/run/and perform like a stock Denso ICV. This ICV will get your car operational and get you from A to B. In my situation, it was not stable nor consistent in its behavior. Save yourself the frustration and either buck up buy brand new DENSO ICV or go to the "you wrench it" salvage yard and get a used OE DENSO ICV. I went the "you wrench it" route. (cost me $12). Immediately my Honda 3.5L V6 was more back to normal - stable idle, smoother acceleration. Denso fuel injection system components play will together. They will tolerate other aftermarket components, but its not an optimal relationship.

I was nervous when purchasing this part, wasn’t sure if it was gonna meet OEM competitor but it sure did.. it came with the correct gasket and everything. Good product

Defective product. Do not buy.
Sent me IAC valvee that looked refurbished with blemishes all over the plastic body. No brand name or labels on the housing. I decided to install it anyway hoping it works. It did not work. The car idle kept surging up and down constantly. From 1800 rpm to 800 rpm at idle. Sent me a defective product. Stay away. Now i have to spends hours taking this thing apart and send it back. What a pain.
