This is an awesome product that does the trick. I originally bought the Bow Wow which is easier to use and holds a bully stick just a smidgen better, but my hyper chewer was chewing it as much as the stick. Since it was nylon and he was scratching with his teeth, I was concerned that he may be ingesting nylon. He was also throwing it around a lot and since it is heavy it would make a klunky noise which could be a tad bit annoying. So, I returned it will no problem. Now about this product. It holds up so much better than the Bow Wow and my dog chews it as much as he does the stick. There are little teeth marks in it, but no signs of pieces breaking off. As some people have mentioned, it is little difficult to put the stick in, but once it is in, it ain’t going anywhere. Here’s what I do. I wet the product before inserting the bully stick and when I insert it, I push down and twist at the same time. As for removal, now that is a different story. I have to use a needle nose plier. You’ve got to clamp down as hard as you can and twist in the opposite direction that you put it in. I admit it is hard. But, it’s a lot easier than losing your dog to choking or life long damage to his trachea. I hope this helps you decide which one to buy.

This is the first Bully Grip that I purchased and I have now purchased a second one for a second dog (green: not pictured). I've had this one for several months and you can see that a very determined chewer has not done any damage. I know my dogs will not choke using this devise. The first picture shows what's left of the bully when she's finished and the second picture shows the flip side of the bully to show how far the stick was originally inserted. The only con is that it is very difficult to remove the stub of the bully stick when my dog is finished. My husband does it quickly and easily, but when he's not around, it does take me about 5 minutes of work to get it loose and discard. For this reason, I usually let him do it. If you have very weak hands or cannot use the method demonstrated in the seller video, this might not be for you. BUT, it works great, my dogs are safe, and it's much less expensive than other devices I've seen. I should mention that I'm a grandmother many times over, so someone younger and strong may not have any issues at all.

I needed a more narrow opening for the slimmer bully sticks we get sometimes. This worked perfectly, only thing is when my dog gets down to the last inch removing is a pain. Soak the holder in hot water to soften the bully stick and it should be able to be pushed out with some effort. That’s really all the cons of it other than that, sturdy, hold very well, doesn’t make too much noise when thrown around since it’s solid silicone. My dog (corgi) has not been able to leave tooth marks on it so it’s extremely durable. But the price could be lower in my opinion.

These work great. They hold the stick securely and my dogs haven’t been able to get the end out of this. Almost impossible for me to get out, but I manage. It’s worth it to have peace of mind that my doggies aren’t going to choke.

This is the best invention for bully sticks! We now have no worries about our dog getting the last inch and choking. Prior to this we always had to hold it and ended up throwing away quite a big piece because we had to leave enough to hang onto. I was hesitant to purchase this at first because of the price but now feel ots worth every penny! We are saving in the long run as we aren't tossing so much of the bully stick away and there's no price you can put on piece of mind that my dog is safe from choking.

My 8 mo old puppy loves to chew and this holder does not let the bully stick loose! So much so it’s tough to get the remaining stick out. I find soaking it in water really helps. It’s a great, durable holder.

It really holds that bully stick in there! It’s expensive with the shipping fee, though.
